Congratulations ! I think I know how it must feel.
For me it's quite the opposite : Next year will be the first year in my entire lifetime Belgium won't participate in the World Cup of Football (Soccer) because they didn't qualify. It's like a bad episode of the twilight zone.
The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?
While I feel Pudge's pain of not having a winning year in ages, I must say that I am rooting for the stros. I'm a big Clemens fan and I admire Craig Biggio immenseley for the way he plays the game. When he retires, he will make a great manager just like Phil Garner and Ozzie Guillen. I predict Astros in six(sorry Pudge).
i can honestly say im not fan of baseball and i really dont like the astros or the white sox and i was hoping for the cardinals so larry walker (a good canadian kid) could go out on a winning note seeing as how that didnt happen if i was to pick a team i would say.............................GO SOX GO white sox in 5 and thats the end of that chapter
Where is SOX GO white sox in 5 and that is the end of that chapter?
The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I wouldn't ber cheering just yet. The Sox scored four runs off an injured pitcher, and one run off the bullpen. That isn't good at all. In then next three games, they will be hitting against three very healthy pitchers, so their hitting needs to step it up a bit. Same for the stros. They need to start hitting with runners in scoring position.

Typical!! What else would you expect to hear from
someone rooting for the other team.
As Bertrand Russel said, it must have taken ages for people to realize that a brace of pheasants and a couple of days are both instances of the number "two. "
