Ginban Kaleidoscope 2 (watching it unsubbed - okay - 5.4):
Too plot involved for me to get much out of it, but the ending had a great scene.

Bleach 54 (fairly good/pretty good - 6.6):
After learning why it was so tough to break the
I can see why there was so much 8O and :puzzled going on.

Lamune 2 (fair - 5.1):
The animation is so flat it reminds me of regular "hentai" anime quality. The pacing feels stilted too. The characters reactions are SO slow. It's as if the producers of the anime kept things deliberately slow so that they wouldn't have to spend as much money animating it. :(

Jigoku Shoujo 3 (okay - 5.3):
Things are becoming rather repetitive now. I guess quite a few people are getting tired with this. :O :l

Da Capo ~ Second Graduation 16 (okay - 5.3):
I watched this because the story is picking back up again (sort of).

Shakugan no Shana 3 (okay/decent - 5.5):
This plot takes some thinking to figure out. It's less predictable than most of the new shows out this season and I appreciate that. How long it will continue that way is another story.

Shuffle! 14 (fairly good - 5.8 ) :
This was a pretty sad episode. :bawl I can tell this was directed by the "Low Detail Hair" animation director. :P Whatever the heck Ama-san is doing ends up being cute. :^^:

Noein 2 (watching it unsubbed - okay - 5.4):
It was a bit unpleasantly angsty for me, but I got over it quickly. The Earth characters look more "normal" than the first episode.

To Heart 2 ep. 3 (okay - 5.4):
This felt very much like an original To Heart episode. Manaka, the soft-spoken class rep, comes out a changed person after being exposed to Takaki. :P

Solty Rei 3 (okay - 5.4):
This was a comedic, light episode. Nothing real special, but it did introduce at least a couple new characters and I did laugh a few times.

Rozen Maiden - Träumend 1 (decent - 5.6):
Just like old times? Not quite. The scene at the end was pretty cool. 8) I'm looking forward to getting more information on the philosophy of why the dolls have to fight each other.

Mai Otome 3 (okay - 5.4):
Mostly Pomp and Circumstances until the ending. I enjoyed the ending part the best. It was a semi-cliffhanger and then the HAPPY music came on. :hurt: It's going to take me awhile to get used to that music.

We still have two weeks until Karin airs. *sigh* :O

Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Oh, this is sooo true! Escaflowne was the show that started off my (now huge) DVD collection. I began watching Escaflowne when they showed it on Fox Network ... but, when they stopped airing it about halfway through, I HAD to see the rest ... so, I found my way to Best Buy and Suncoast. And the rest, as they say, is history. Around 300 or so anime DVDs later, and I'm still adding on!

Wow ... that's darn scary. And, for some reason, I feel quite pathetic now.

Don't mind me ... I'm just going to sit over here in the corner and cry quietly over my lost sanity.

Just retrace your steps and you're bound to find it again. :D

:crackup :rollin :hitting:

I think you will have lots of company in the corner :)

What did I watch last? Two total wastes of time. Yes, but anything is better than statistics.

Episode 155 of Naruto... latest in the "Curry of Life" arc. Man. I sound like a moron just saying that. X| :?

And the Ah My Goddess Special, about which I was quite excited until I realized it was nothing more than a poorly toggled-together set of clips from the series. Not an atom of original footage that I could see... :badass And I absolutely *loved* the show. I have been horribly disillusioned that something that wonderful could have been used to create such a total waste of bandwidth and cognitive load. Sheesh.

The rest of the series, which is stunningly beautiful, and should have an IMMENSE label on it !

Episodes 4 - 9 of G Gundam. (which I really start to like.)

Episodes 1-3 of Rahxephon (which I'll have to postpone because it's confusing the heck out of me while I'm watching Faffner and have seen Evangelion.

HOWL!!!
Ahem ... sorry ... Let me just regain control over the drooling fangirl in me.

*shoves drooling fangirl back to the dark recesses of her mind*

OK. I'm better now ... well, as "better" as I get, anyhow ... now, that's a scary thought! :D

And, on topic, I know I'm waaaay behind the times, but I just finished watching the first DVD of Revolutionary Girl Utena. Yeah, I had never seen it --- hard to believe, huh? So far, I'm enjoying it very much, and I hope to start watching the second dvd here in a few minutes.

In closing, let me just add: Touga ... I like him so much. :D :dgrin :D
