I need moral support....

Like I said a while ago, I am getting a job interview at Stat department, University of Kentucky.... and on Jan 10th the chair at math department at North Carolina State University called me for another job interview on Jan 26th!!!!

Soooooooooooooo, I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nurvious!!! I have been extremely panic mode right now

(I just came back a conference at Texas and I am so tired as well

)

I need moral support.....

Good advice. I recently went on a job interview where I was so nervous b/c I wanted the position so much, I almost blew the whole interview. So, take a deep breath, and relax. Be yourself.....Good luck!! I'm sure you will be great!!

Don't worry about job interviews. You know that you are the best person for the position, so it should be easy to convince the interviewer.

Remember that if you doubt yourself it will show

Yeah definitely interviews suck

Thanks, animeobsessed..... You know, my hubby said the same thing and he kept forcing me playing DQ8 to make me relax.....

Sounds like you need some rest girl.

Don't get so nervous as to make yourself sick. Like everyone has said, you're getting the callbacks which basically puts you in the driver's seat, so to speak. Keep in mind that you've worked hard and therefore you deserve this position. Just make sure you keep your health up (everyone I know is either getting sick or just getting over it), prepare yourself as best as you can and then let it go. Occupy your mind with other things, preferable activities you enjoy doing.

And when it comes time to shine, just keep telling yourself "this job is mine" and then take it & make it yours.

amateurs won't stand a chance. Just tell them:
"I have been mocked by experts. I don't rate you very highly at all."

Kittens this is GREAT news! I'm psyched!! Lots of people are happy to get a single interview at a place in academe... by golly getting two or three is quite an achievement! Be proud of yourself!

Relax and remember to ask questions. Not only does it make you seem interested (which you are of course!) but it gets them talking. Just remember they want to fill the position as much as you want to get it have them tell you some of the reasons you would want to be there!
If you can handle kenjutsu tests you can do this!!!!
