A Midsummer Night's Theme

"I have a theme..."

And the theme is: Silliness!!

So, I've jumped the gun just a wee bit, and two of my updates don't exactly fit in the theme, but I think you'll see what I mean if you check out the update du jour.

With any luck, this link will take you directly there. Without any luck, you can click on the www button below and find your way to the "New Cels" page the old-fashioned way, and wait until it's not too soon for me to post again so I can get rid of this:

eeeee! I LOVE all the funny Gokudo cels! I especially love the "big head" one!

And, YES, as a mom I feel like that is indeed how I have to talk to my boys to get them to listen! heehee! But that last one of Gokudo is really very fine... a very very nice shot!

And who couldn't love a pretty blue Misao and a boney-kneed Mugen??

I say justify the new Zel by proclaiming him gorgeous. That's justification enough for me.

I love the Gokudo opening cel, too! Kakkou ii! It's almost enough to make me think he's a cool character. Then, I look at the rest of your update.

Well...I can tell you these two facts:
- Baakay's online cel gallery is missing at least one cel from her collection
- She's too embarassed to ever put that one up

Aaaah! Now I feel much, much better, since I've had my dose of "gorgeousness" for the day.

What an incredible and beautiful update! I loved every single cel in there. You really have such a knack for picking out some of the most lovely scene examples out there -- whether the scene in question is serious or totally silly in tone. I can not get enough of those silly Gokudo cels, but I have to admit the OP one you added of him is just droolisiously beautiful! I also loved the Misao cel. She has the prettiest eyes, doesn't she? But, my absolute fave of the update was the new Zelgadis cel. It is so pretty! And, of course, you already know I think you can't ever have too many cels of your favorite character. I mean, come on -- there's no denying love, right?

It's got a nice homey feel to it. One of those quiet first thing in the morning sights that just put you at ease....

It's pretty raw when it's eyeballin' you as you eyeball it on the way down!

Okay, but my favorite part of the Mugen sketch is this: "Sequence: um... will get back to you on this..."

Hee hee, and Gokudo is just cute.

*pats him onna head as he fumes away*

Yeah, the Zel is my favorite of this bunch. He even looks like he's keeping an eye on this zany group. Just in case.

As EJ would have said back a few years ago, "You Ronk!" (think little little kid who can't pronounce all her letters quite yet...)

Oooo... someone else who recognized the Fish Heads song!! I should link my video up there and you'd see why this cel was a MUST HAVE.
