How do you prefer galleries?

I am trying to decide if I should group my cels by season or leave them grouped by character. What do you think?

I like it more by series.

I prefer by series as well.

However, if you only collect one series (as most SM collectors tend to do)
then grouping it by character might be easier on the visitor. Having
literally one category that says "Sailormoon" and hosting about 100 cels there
and the rest of the gallery being empty might look a little silly.

I agree with the ladies. If you only have one or two series, I would go by character, otherwise go by series.

If you have enough cels for each character, maybe list them as...

Bleach Ichigo
Bleach Rukia
Bleach Kon

This way if someone searches for either the name of the show or character they can find it with rubberslugs search engine!!

Since you've edited your Q, I've thought about a unique suggestion. Perhaps
do both? That way, people can find all your cels in two different ways. Might
sound kinda dumb, but I sorta like the idea of cross reference organization.

I know SM collectors vary on how they organize their gallery (seasons vs.
character). But with SM, the artwork varies by season, so lumping similar
art styles together might look nicer.

However, if I like Jupiter, and want to see all your cels of just her, then I'd
prefer clicking the "Jupiter" category.

I guess my final vote, if I have to choose one or the other, would be by
season. It's even better if you go the extra step to ID all the cels and place
them in chronological order.

i prefer by series myself if one has several - lots of series to their gallery. however, i could maybe see splitting up by season if its a show with mulitple seasons, and you have a decent number of cels/sketches from said season.

of course i agree with what WC said about if you only collect just one series, like SM or DBZ, then splitting up by characters would be more intresting.

Right when i began, i did it by character. But now its by series and it is much better.
