Auction Test.

Post by awajikiwi »

Hello,

I am presently trying to see if I can make an auction site for animemuseum and have a beta (pre-beta) version running with one auction running.

The auction is for a 5 cel set of hunterxhunter cels starting price 1 yen

http://www.animemuseum.biz/onlineshop/0001.jpg

To view and place bids on the auction.

1) Login animemuseum
2) click the following http://www.animemuseum.biz/onlineshop/a ... 06-160-001

* I will be covering the shipping for these cels.
* Payment by paypal

If the auction breaks, SORRY ! :( email me an I'll see what I can do. (On friday night)

If the auction REALLY breaks I may just have to cancel the auction and start again.

The AUCTON PAGE is reall UGLY at the present time, I only need to test the auction side of the system so pretty can come later.

Off rafting tomorrow be back night

many thanks

Stephen

Seems to be a couple of errors with the auto bidding.

Fixed one of them, probably made some more.

Auto bidding:

If you enter 2000 yen and the highest other auto bid is 1200 your bid should be entered as 1210 yen and then autobid to 2000 yen.

If you enter 2000 yen and the ¥90 is minimum bid and the no one else has an autobid then your bid will show as ¥90 and autobid to 2000 yen.

If you bid and out bid someone in the last 5 minutes the auction is extended for five minutes. This stops people from trying to bid in the last seconds.

Okay, I gave it a whirl, Stephen! I have no idea who the characters are, but how can I resist such a nice plea for help? :) Hope the auction thing goes well and that you do more of them in the future!!

After this auctions finishes I will run some dummy auctions. If anyone can help me out to simulate a bid war it would be great.

basically I just need a bunch of people trying to bid at the same time, So if you have any friends who are animemuseum members and you can AIM or Skype while bidding it will be great.

I raft in Shikoku, Japan on a river called Yoshino. I love rafting and water sports in general. Rock diving is great, Some of the jumps are over 35ft
