In Japan New Year is a very special day in Japan so for me it is also special So my hubby will try to cook gnocchi and I will cook pasta souce for gnocchi I know it is not osechi (b/c my hubby cannot eat.... ) but we will try to make some tradition here
i am hoping i could transfer out to an university this year. So far i have a gpa of 3.45 so if i keep it up and take enough classes/credits for the transfer requirement i could do it.
Now anime-wise, i am hoping to watch a different variety of anime. Afterwards, collect from those series if i like em.
New year is special for us, too. With lots of fireworks (but not this year since husband isn't home). That's how I grew up in Germany. ^_^
The food tradition I grew up with is to eat Sauerkraut, potatoes and kassler (which I believe is here in the US is called smoked pork). But due to husbands tradition I also cook black eye peas and collard greens for New Years. Lots of veggies. ^_^
I will cook all the above foods, but New Years wont be same since my husband isn't here to celebrate with us this year.
I still keep up the food tradition on new years day and will also have a glass of champagne at midnight
I always wondered how he or she grew up in Germany.
The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Then the Dean repeated the mantra that has had such a marked effect on the progress of knowledge through the ages.
'Why don't we just mix up absolutely everything and see what happens?' he said.
And Ridcully responded with the traditional response. "It's got to be worth a try,' he said
I'll be spending the day burning DVD copies of a wedding, even though it can't be mailed until Wednesday. I'll probably start loading a new job on New Year's day. I plan to make Black-eyed peas and ham with rice tomight but the rice is going to be Basmati (It's my favorite!) Don't know if I'll bother to make it 'til midnight. This has been a difficult year for us here, so I think I just want it to be over.
I'm going to spend the day today and tomorrow doing housework and sewing. And maybe watching some anime and playing with dolls with the kiddos.
Like Vapalla, I'm delighted that this year is almost over. Many good things happened, but it was very difficult in other ways. I want a fresh start.
My plans for the coming year include getting more exercise and trying to finally get this body back into something like a decent operating condition. That will improve everything else
And while I'm here, I want to wish everyone here the best. You're all very, very special to me.

What is on New Years Day I will work in morning like on New Years Day I will work in morning.

"Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." Harlan Ellison
