What happened to our avatars?
Unfortunately, I made my avatar on my computer, lost it in the crash, and forgot to back up the beta copy... will they come back, or do we have to make new ones? Hate to upload the new one if there's a way to get the old one back.
Thanks,
- Karen

Do you think your plan will succeed?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I think it succeeded nicely thank you. Go polish your gears.
As DW said in the announcement, I didn't move the avatars. After nearly 5 years, the upload directory had several thousand images in it, most of which were unused old images. I don't have an easy or practical way to figure out which ones were actively being used, so I decided to just not move any. I can go back and grab whatever avatar someone was using right before the move if need be.

Cloud has been giving us a major attitude lately. Perhaps he wasn't very fond of the move? Or maybe he has been conspiring with his robot friends? Maybe he feels that he needs to voice himself angrily...who knows.
Anyway, I know Cloud will be stalking me again after this. *sigh*
And noooooo! The spell check button is gone! *cries a river*

Gracias!!!!magician wrote:Done. And the Chihiro banner is actually an old one from before I joined. Sith-Krillin made that banner shortly before Beta's one year anniversary. I found it in an old archive and thought I would put it back up.

Oooh, he made a nice banner. Glad to see you brought it back even though it's new to me.
