LOL, same here!Keropi wrote:I don't have a phone or a watch.![]()
One woman thought I was being rude when I told her I didn't have either after she asked me what time it was.
I had a mobile phone for a couple of years whilst at college because it was handy 'on set' of video shoots and when I needed to get hold of crew and coordinate meetings etc asap. I haven't had a phone in my pocket for about 6 years now and it doesn't bother me because I don't need it.
Same with a watch. I just look at a clock several times a day and can work out the general time from there; I'm usually accurate to 5-10 mins. Plus, if I'm at home using the computer I have constant access to the time displayed in the corner of the screen

It does concern me how much we rely on 'convenience technologies' and gadgets, I hope I don't get precious about my new MP3 player...

I didn't have a cell phone until this October.
It's hard to make plans with college friends when they all have cell phones and you don't
Plus, needed something to call home on that was a local number so my parents didn't have to pay long distance.
I decided on a Nokia 6235i, which not a flip phone, so i get a lot of comments on it. It's nice and small and has really good reception
