LeafNinja.com thinks they'll be skipping the KG (for now) and starting after the 2 1/2 yr time jump based on the episode titles:

Jpn. 02/15/07 Episode 001: "Homecoming"

Jpn. 02/15/07 Episode 002: "Akatsuki, Action Begins"

From the previews they are starting when Naruto comes home and sees the new Hokage face on the mountain. They didn't show much. They stayed focused on Kakashi in the previews for awhile so it's possible that maybe they will show it, but only for the first half hour and then jump to the homecoming??? I doubt it though....like has already been said it seems it's starting on the homecoming.

There's your previews!

I'm glad I watched them. I got a lot of holes filled in by them. I learned a lot about different characters that aren't discussed much in the manga. While they were long I still enjoyed them.

ditto same here

Also the new episode 220 had some of the manga already in it in the ending part. Where it left off in the manga. I'm excited and can't wait for next week. I know Sasuke wont be there, not yet anyway. But I can't wait to see Neji, Naruto and the others with a new and older look style. ^_^

I'm very excited over the Kakashi story and hope they come out with that one soon. I hope they either make a Movie or OVA out of it or a special and long enough to cover the complete story.

Yay!!

*maybe* some day I'll go back and watch the fillers. I kept up with Bleach, and was impressed with the way they finally wrapped that up and eased back into the main story again.

But one series' worth of fill was all I could deal with at one time. :) I'm REALLY excited they're getting back to Naruto. Yahoo!
