Rubberslug trolls

Post by ReiTheJelly »

I have to admit that this happens only about once every other month...but it's still really annoying that there are some people out on the internet with nothing better to do than harrass random people (at least I'm assuming this person doesn't know me).

Priceless. *rolls eyes*

I think my favorite "anonymous" comment so far has to be:

Wow that is crazy.
I'm glad I haven't popped up on anyones radar yet.
I can't believe people actually have that kind of time on their hands.

I think the point here was that they have the time to waste,
seeing as how they have no flippin' life. :roll

I agree. I know it is possible to track IP addresses and actually have them blocked (or if you are like me, ping them to death so that their computer reboots hehehe). You can ask Jason or one of the mods if it happens again, or keeps happening to block that specific IP from logging onto RS again. Now if the person is comp-savvy, then they would know how to manually change their IP and do it again, but the given IQ of this fellow seems rather low, so I wouldn't worry about that happening.

I'm sorry it's happened to you though, but just point and laugh, because that's what stupid people are here for. ;) :jump :box1: :kamehameha:

i dunno if i had that much time to waste i wouldn't be sending people messages like that. Seems like someone got smacked with the stupid tree a lil too much.

LOL... the first time I saw the math question i tried answering: 2+3=Pie ... it didn't like that. :P

Me either. Is this what you call a "word problem".

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

That's just bizarre. :?
I mean really, regular spam is bad enough, but that sort of crap?!

*chuckle* I thought the second example sounded like something Cloud would say.

This may be the single best piece of advice I've ever read!!
:dgrin

Seriously...that kind of random dumb-dropping is right up there with "is your refrigerator running" crank calls on the maturity scale.
