New Layout and Meaning

Hey there everyone.

I just wanted to let everyone know my new gallery name and with that a new layout as well.

I got the name "Never Defeated" through my actual personal experiences I am going through right now. I feel a lot of ups and downs as many of us do, but I always come out wiser and stronger.

As many of you now know, I am absolutly in love with Kenshin. His fights within himself and others really hits me to the very core of my soul. I myself, resemble him in ways that seem downright strange. I can say, I do love him.

Which comes to the layout. The main image is one from where Kenshin is all over fighting. Within himself and outward. He feels so tired but still cannot give up.

The Bottom images are rememberences of his life. The feeling of them makes me think deeply on how you can reflect on your own life and see yourself true.

The sub page banners in feedback, private area and links are my all time favorite images of Kenshin and Kaoru. I love them as a couple so much. It almost makes me want to tear up how tragic yet loving they both remain to eachother.

As I was talking to Cyn, she brought up a great point. The bottom images look like old photographs. Past memories brought to life again. I am a photographer and I love old pictures. This layout reflects me in so many ways.

I hope you all can enjoy it and maybe see my personality within its pages and words.

You are awesome ZombieBunny! I just love how Kenshin has touched your life as much as it has done for so many of us here...and to come up with some an amazing looking and touching layout...it really is too cool!

An effective design, ZB, I get a feeling of doom from the graphics and colouring combined and that's made stronger with the opposing 'Never Defeated' slogan because he appears completely downtrodden. That contrast is special and I definately see the positive and uplifting side of that imagery.

I saw your new layout when you first updated it on RS, and I really love it. I think it is beautiful, and the meaning behind it is really lovely. Great job!!! *hugs*
