Do you blow it off?
Respond back to them?
Spite Them?
Get upset?
Something different or a combination of everything?
Well. I suppose it was only a matter of time before I encountered a rude/mean person.
Sorry for the venting, if it makes a difference, at least it feels a little better talking about it
So, basically, someone made their way over to a listing I have on Live Journal and posted under a listing I have for cels and douga, that 'I have one of her cels.' Okay.... A Galaxia Icon. Hmm. She must like Galaxia or want to collect Galaxia Cels. I figured I'd blow off the rudeness and ask if she has a cel site, or if she was talking about a certain cel in particular and post as such. I then made my way over to the Sailormoon fans community. Low and behold I found her again, using the same avatar choice out of several that she had to choose from.
Turns out she's looking for villian cels from Sailormoon. Ok, I figured, hey, I can help her out and point her over here. Then I started reading her post http://community.livejournal.com/sailor ... 56474.html
Ok, maybe she's being tongue-in cheek with the last comment, but it still is pretty dumb to ask for help and then tell people that she wants to see who has what so she can steal it.
She just basically goes on and starts ranting about people and how they should sell their cels to her (I am guessing this is a girl) and how they are
just going to be sold at an estate sale when the owner dies. So in generallity, there is no point to the NFS tags...
I suppose I should have counted myself lucky to not have had contact with rude or mean cel collectors in 10 years of cel collecting. At least, I suppose, I'll be better able to understand the posts from others who say certain types tend to drive them out of wanting to collect cels or display them publically. Oh well. The only result her post has caused me has been to never want to physically sell her any cels or such of mine.
So, in general, thanks for reading to my vent.
