Don't be sorry!! I'm glad you liked the joke!

What is that address! I would love to go the Hell, MI. But the only way I know is by being a cheater!!

And I don't want to be a cheater!

Ah, you're right (I'd forgotten).

Well some people are sensitive.

Hey guys, great submissions this year! I didn't know voting ended today, so I guess I made it just in time x_x.

Being a noob to the whole Beta-Awards process, is there any way to view the entries w/ more detail when voting? If not, I was familiar with most of the entries from RS stalking over the months, but yeah, those thumbs were pretty tiny.

Good luck to all that submitted cels/sketches, I'll be sure to submit some next year ^_^.

Welcome to Beta!

When I voted, I had two screens open to make it easier to vote - one with the large images in the catagory I was voting for and the other with the ballot.

I thought that everyone did a really good job this year. The site was well designed, easy to navigate and all the submissions were wonderful. A big thanks to everyone who was involved and participated this year.

...And I liked the picture of Hell. That made my day.

The cheater spent time actively trying to convince people not to enter the BAs, and then proceeded to enter himself! He then emailed and PMed several people (including me!), bragging about what he'd done. So, yeah,.... not the brightest bulb in the room.

The "Entries" page has the bigger images. The thumbs used in each category are 300 pixels wide and most have an even larger image you can access if you click their link.

The minicons featured on the ballot are to help you keep things organized and are not a fair representation of the actual entries themselves.

Today is the last day for voting, so please don't wait till the last minute (which would be 11:59 pm CST). So many of the categories are close-calls, it's insane. We're beginning to prepare the trophies and emblems, which is very exciting. Winners will receive a personalized trophy and an emblem. The emblem is a transparent gif designed to be displayed on the winning image, if the winner so desires.

Expanding the prizes to include a 3rd place will hopefully combat the complaint that "the entries I vote for never win" and "I enter but my entries never win anything". BAs should be about having fun and enjoying yourself, and it's certainly "not unfun" to possibly receive a trophy or know you were partially responsible for someone else receiving a trophy because you voted for their entry. I sincerely hope this increases the enjoyment factor of the event. :)

/hmm Honestly, does this cheater have a brain? It's almost hard to believe that someone could be that unintelligent. It's a "derrrh" factor. :tongue :wack Maybe we need to make a Darwin award for this individual (hey I know, you technically have to be 'dead' to qualify for the award, but for this individual, how about 'braindead'?) :P

Anyway, thank you once again to all those that made the awards possible this year. I went back to see all the entrants and I tell you, this is going to be one heck of a close call. I had some doubts the second time around, but I'm still overall pleased with my original choices. Waiting around to see how many I was correct on is going to be hard! *bites nails*

When did you go back to see all the entrants? Why did you tell them?

Try asking another bot. By "we" do you mean you and me?
