Does anyone Gaia?

Post by duotrouble »

A little while ago, I was doing a search on some tv show and ran across Gaia online. It's thread intrigued me to lurk around the site. Soon afterwards, I found myself signed up and logged in. Now, I find it to be quite a time killer . . . like I needed another one. X|

I'm still fairly new to it and trying to figure out how the whole thing works. I just setup my house tonight, decorated it and then went bug collecting. And yesterday, I spent a good hour putting puzzles together. I almost got a car today but I figured the house was enough for one day.

Anyone here a member? I'd love to put you on my currently empty *sniff* friends list. :^^:

I'm a member, same name.
I never go on there, I don't have enough time for things as it is, but if I ever run out of chores, I might head over there.

I've browsed the site a few times in the past when trying to find an online game to play but never tried it out since my computer is a bit slow and my video/graphic cards are old. Is it pretty fun? The character design almost reminds me of a game I played about 8 years ago called 'Quiz Quiz'. :love:

That's so awesome to find out some of you are also members. :D I've requested you all to be friends and sent you all pms. Well, except you, miz ducky. You don't accept pms. :roll: But I did request you as a friend even though you don't go online much. :wink:

I might as well go public too and say I'm emosgirl over there. I haven't spent any of my gold yet. I don't have much but I'm building it up. :^^:

Sugarflower, I find Gaia to be quite a lot of fun even not knowing what I'm doing half the time. :)

I'll try to check it out in a week or so. I didn't even know that I couldn't accept PMs. My best friend Allison is always on it, I blame Gaia for the fact that she never emails me.

I think I used that site, can't remember since it was a while ago. It's an anime-type world isn't it? I think my brother's old internet friend created it; he was a comic artist.
From what I remember I played as a blue-haired girl but can't recall my name or anything!

It didn't appeal to me because I spent a while walking around, fishing etc and wasn't keen on chatting to 11 year old girls on the internet. It's good to know that there are actually some adults there so I may take another look at it!
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...

That's strange. There has to be more to that story. :? They can't stop you from doing other things on the internet. BTW, did you hear Neopets is going bye bye? I'm not a member nor did I ever have any intention of becoming one. It's just news I heard.

I'm with you, Krafty. I have no desire to speak to 11 year olds - male or female. I was solving a puzzle when someone in the room started chatting with me. I kept it all about the puzzle because I hadn't a clue about this person. (I sometimes get wary with online chats. Anyone could try to be anyone.) And that's why I thought I'd ask here. :) I'm so relieved to find out other adults are roaming around too. :^^:

The site seems familiar to me too. Maybe I found it a few years ago and got intimidated by it. It is little animated characters running around after all. :wink: I have a light blue-haired girl.

I used to play on gaia all the time, but I haven't been recently. I'm jcaliff there too, just like everywhere else. I should check on my character. I bet a lot of my donation letters are worth quite a bit now. :D
