I have NO idea what any of the last few animes are, but I just had to comment that I LOVE the use of the word "propinquity" here!! :D

Carry on with stuff I know nothing about! :emb

In honor of Shellie, I will pick a 'bot show!! :D

Most Giant Robot pilots are pretty laconic...
but this show features one who doesn't say one word.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

And although they often identify with their Mecha, they don't usually resemble them as closely as our hero does his! :D

Ooo, I have absolutely no idea which show you are talking about, irmgaard, but I'm looking forward to finding out which one it is! :D Thanks for including us mech-heads. :friends:

Aww! :( Now I won’t get to add my third hint about the hero using the downtime between fights with evildoers to play cards with his buds, and snack on his favorite food…Batteries!!! :D

I love this cute little series, which consists of multiple five minute shorts. And, although it is a gentle parody of real robot shows like Mazinger Z, Go Nagai himself championed it, and it was produced by Bandai, so it is not without some real Mech creds!!!

And Shellie, deep down, we all know that anime just wouldn't be anime without the MECHS!!! /no1

Ok , GuyvarIII, your turn!

SO true! :) I'll have to look for that show, irmgaard. I haven't watched any anime for awhile, mostly because I haven't wanted to dive into something long and involved. A show that comes in 5-minute chunks AND has mech sounds absolutely fab!!

Okay, carry on, Guyvar! ;)

This Anime is based on a side-scrolling shooter, and features aircraft/spacecraft vs. dragon.

Its only been 2 days... I'll give it another 3 weeks.
My last one went unanswered for 4 weeks, then was eventually skipped...
