So, what's in your fridge?

Post by blueheaven »

I heard a guy once say that you can tell a lot about a person by what they have in their refrigerator. So, let's see what your fridge says about you. Let's make it a small list. Choose any five items from your freezer, and then five items from your refrigerator. Choose items that you think are significant. Maybe you have an icebox soulmate on this board. :D

Here's what you'll find in mine...

Fridge:
Mushrooms (I eat them with everything)
Naked Juice (I love their OJ and Green Machine)
Red Stripe (It's beer. Hooray beer!)
Brocoli Cole Slaw (I love it with some Olive Oil and Vinegar dressing)
Minced Garlic (I use a little in most everything I cook. Good for you.)

Freezer:
Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers (I take one to work every day. Very good.)
Salmon (I like to have fish once a week)
Eggo Whole Grain Blueberry Waffles (Yummy)
Pork Butt (I bought 5lbs of it a year ago for a steal. Good for making cochinita pibil)
Canadian Bacon (Sometimes I like to mix up breakfast)
Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.

Same here Duo, lol. I have absolutely nothing but Dasani bottled waters and a liter of Sprite Zero in my fridge, occasionally there will be some chilled wine. The freezer is even worse, has an ice/gel pack for when I get aches. There is no difference throughout the year either, been this way for years.

Hey, the only reason I started this thread was because I went shopping today. I had half a gallon of milk, a 2 liter of diet Dr. Pepper, and a half dozen eggs. We all have those weeks in between shopping.

I share a house with three other people, so our fridge is full of an assortment of weird foods. I'll try to list items that I purchased.

fridge:
cheddar cheese blocks
gallon of skim milk
bag of romaine lettuce
remnants of last night's spinach quiche
a chocolate easter bunny from last year
(I like to think that it guards my food from my ravenous house-mates)

freezer:
potato pierogi (homemade)
pasties (homemade)
mixed vegetable bags for soup
bloodworms (for my newts)
smelt (for my turtles)
