Hello all. Iiii don't really know the protocol here, as I've only posted a couple of times here at Beta, but I'm desperately trying to raise funds for at least part of a major wishlist item, and friends of mine at RubberSlug encouraged me to advertise the items I'm willing to part with here. I don't really have set prices at this time... As someone that just kind of scrapes by on luck and nickel-and-dime finds, I'm really not sure what prices would be fair, and even I admit that some of this stuff really isn't that great. Maybe someone out there will still buy out of pity?

I also have some non-cel things that I'd been selling to friends IRL, but I wasn't sure if those would be allowed to be posted here. If it turns out they are, I'll add those in later.

Iiiiiii can't really explain owning this book. I think it was during a yard sale last summer when I got a crapload of game guides. Anyway, the only Pokemon game I've ever played is Pokemon Snap, so I hardly need this one. Anyone out there a guide-whoring nerd like me and want it just because it's pretty?

I have two of every card that is shown here. I got a "starter deck" from this series of cards a while ago, but for some reason the starter had 5 sets of the same 20-ish cards. I felt kind of ripped off, frankly. In any case, I really don't need multiple sets. I should point out that the bottom right card that's slightly separated is a promo card that came along with something else, so if people start buying these cards, copies of that card will cost slightly more.

I can't remember off the top of my head how many cards are in each of these sets. I wrapped them up ages ago to sell them on eBay, but they never sold. If someone's interested in them, I'll open them back up and get you the numbers.

Not sure I can actually call that last one a "poster", because it's not huge, but it IS bigger than the fliers. It's just a little small for what I'd normally call a poster is all.

I snatched a handful of these things from a Best Buy before the game came out because I thought they looked spiffy and could look nice on the wall. I forget exactly how many of these I have, but I think it's around half a dozen.

These I know came from the hobby store guy back at home. He'd been about to toss them (which is why they're folded, sadly), but kept them around at the last minute to see if I wanted them. I DO kinda like them, but they just get overruled by my other wallhangings, so as of yet they've still never actually been on the wall.

I would've liked this doll more if not for the big stand it's on. It was given to me by a guy at work that ended up with a double; apparently there's some version of the Pokemon CCG that has like... game pieces, or something. I dunno, I never actually played that game.

Not actually a bad little figure, just I have a different one of Sasuke that I like more, so this one's expendable. It was given to me by a person I don't really consider to be a friend anymore, anyway.

LotR sword

Anyone that knows what a LotR tard I am will probably find this shocking. This sword really isn't bad, I just really like my Sting sword more. This sword is a replica of Arwen's sword, but not the same size; it's closer to the size of Sting. Since I pretty much never use it at the ren faire, I don't see much use in keeping it around.

I know several of you have had this drink before. Let me state from the start that this is an empty can (and the drink inside was quite tastey), but I dunno, I just think it's a neat little collectible to have around. As I have an extra of these, it's worth at least seeing if anyone might want it.

I... can't really explain this. My mom got it for me on Valentine's day as a goof gift because it's so WTF. XD His beanie is also a mild spin game, btw. There's different sections on there for the arrow to point to. His hat comes off, and originally candy was inside, but I suppose now you could put whatever you want in it.

I actually still really like this, but as my hair is rarely long enough to use it, I figure I may as well offer it up to a better home. It's made of real metal, and is very durable. I got this from an Asian gifts store, so for all I know it could be imported instead of made-here-to-look-like-it-came-from-there.

To be honest, I don't -really- want to sell this, but the thing is I don't really ever use it. It just sorta... sits around and looks pretty and gathers dust. And lately, I've had an Eevee doll standing on it, so it's REALLY not being appreciated. I want to warn anyone that buys this, however, that it's very heavy, so the shipping definitely wouldn't be cheap.

I just noticed that the description of this forum says anime "items" can be placed for sale. Does that officially mean that you can sell other things besides cels and sketches? Because if it does, I'd like to know so I can update the thread with some other things... <:\ I've only got 4 days to raise about $200, so I need all the exposure I can get. Thanks to anyone that can provide any info.

I feel compelled to let people know that the wishlist cel I was trying to raise money for has gotten a bid from someone else, sooo... I'm doubting I'll be able to win now. It was going to be a longshot to be able to raise the money to bid at all, but to be able to compete will take a miracle. I'm still leaving the things listed up for sale, but I'm thinking it's kind of a lost cause now.

n.n Iiiiiiii kind of doubt it. The cel I'm after is from the SatAM Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon. Finding cels from that show at all is extremely difficult, but this was for a shot of Sonic and Sally holding hands from the opening sequence, with original background, already matted and framed. It's supposed to have its certificate of authenticity, too. I'm preeeetty sure I'll never, ever see this again, and on the off-chance I do, I'm sure it'll still be really really friggin' expensive.

Leda, I just wanted to let you know that I was the one who won the Sonic/Sally cel. Its also a dream wishlist cel of mine - its been on my wishlist for awhile, and like you, I never thought I would ever see it offered for sale. I caught the auction a couple of days ago - I browse Ebay every couple of days for cels. Its been the most agonizing two days ever waiting for the auction to end!

It went pretty high, but I was expecting that. Some Sonic SatAM OP cels showed up on Ebay last year and I got outbid on them - they went for over $300 each. I figured this auction would be a doozy so I prepared for a fight. It ended well under my top bid (thank god) but it is still the second most expensive cel I've ever bought. I was up against four other bidders, probably rabid Sonic fans like us.

I don't know if I should be surprised, but the same seller sold a Disney's The Little Mermaid cel for less than the Sonic cel. Ha, it just proves that Sonic SatAM has a huge fan-base!
