I agree. It's going to be tough to vote! Everyone has some really creative layouts! I wish more people joined in though.

And I can't believe Halloween is Friday!

I think I am going to do a Fall/Thanksgiving themed layout before a Christmas one. I also cannot believe Halloween came so fast! Maybe the rest of the semester will go fast too.

Aye! I finished all my thumbnail changing to png files! yay!

I also added a last minute "trick or treat" section... has types of candy with a piece of artwork w/a character I felt fit the candy. I REALLY hate I couldn't do more with this idea, but I didn't have it until about 30 mins before I gotta leave for work. So it'd be more refined, with more entries... but I thought ya'll might like the idea none the less.

I love the trick-or-treat section HotIce! Very creative! :D

BTW~ What are .png files? Hubby asked me about using them when designing my layout, but I told him only .gif or .jpeg were ok for RS. :emb

A Thanksgiving layout sounds fun. I'll try to come up with something. :vict

a .png file is similar to a .gif for the most part, but it can't be animated like .gif files can be.

Thank you everyone for your kind words about my "tick or treat" section.! I'm really glad you're all enjoying it. I just wish I didn't have to rush off to work right after I got the idea. It was fun coming up with candies to fit the characters I have art from.

.png files are like miz ducky said for the most part like a .gif file. .png cannot be animated... but I feel I get a better look around the edges of my images than I do from .gif files. .gif seems to leave a more jagged looking edge around my puddle thumbnails. .png are just my preference. :D

I was planning a thanksgiving layout as well... since I"m plays with puddles (of blood!) _ I thought for thanksgiving I'll be plays with puddles (of gravy!) - and xmas will be (of egg nog). I"m not sure what the puddles will be for valentines, st. patties... yea the rest of the holidays. But changing my jpegs to .pngs is going to may theming out my gallery TONS easier!

That is such an awesome idea HotIce I really like it :) . Thanksgiving wise I’ll try to whip something up but I doubt I can make anything nice in time so I don’t think I’ll be decorating for that holiday at least this year. anyway… :) HAPPY HALLOWEEN  :) ahh… time is always flying by good luck to everybody it’s going to be a tough vote all the galleries came out really nice :)

Sensei sticks a greenish hand, with rather unkempt, chipped nails, out of the crypt where he's been for three weeks and types ...

Thanks, Belldandy16, for organizing this event (and tardy kudos for your lovely new Holy Bell cel!).

I enjoyed looking around the galleries. Lots of people are much handier with animated gifs than I am (I guess I'm a very static guy), and I enjoyed the musical ones. HotIce's "Trick or Treat" gallery was a really neat idea, especially with the thumbs showing the real candy and then the main images showing the eye candy! I'm stealing that idea next year!

Kathpatty, congrats on a really unsettling Halloween CCS cel.

Jadeduo: nice updates also! This too is a scary moment just in time:

Thanks to everyone for cel-ebriating the day!

oh yes, everyone who entered and hasnt can vote (fact i hope more people who didnt enter vote than did)!

and for the voting, ill be doing a poll. i think ill have two sessions, each with seven choices. thatll last a week, then the winners of each sessions will go against each other for one more week.

how do you think that sounds?
that was all i could come up with (since there's 14 entries and the polls only let us have ten choices). lol
