Sailor Moon Update

It's not much, I'm sure many of you saw this cel in MdKiller's gallery but it now resides proudly and happily in my gallery and I can't be happier enough to have gotten my first "Sailor Moon" Sailor Moon cel. Lol.

I think that the background is from the episode where they first meet Ray at the temple. The background gets swirly like that since the bus is opening a vortex. Its from the first season. Also, I think she's dressed as a flight attendant in that scene.

Congratulations on your new beauty. The bg and the cel do work together in an interesting way, and the combination is really striking. Looking forward to your coming-soon Chobits additions as well.

The path to Hades begins with "that first cel..." (Fortunately, it's a long, enjoyable way down.)

I think the pink background looks nice! Almost like an aura coming from Sailor Moon!

I went ahead and looked through and I'm 100% positive the background is from Eps. 24 when she transforms in front of him on accident. It's hard to tell because it alternates between green, blue, orange and the pink one but I don't think its from when they meet Raye (there is more cityscape in the bg of that one). Thank you though for your help!

Thank you Sensei, those Chobits will be here bout' a week from now, really looking forward to that myself. As for the cel collecting I had only intended to buy 1 from each series but damn it was so easy to get sucked in, I went from thinking 35$ was steep to blowing 300$ easy. But I love it, and don't regret setting my "path to hades"

I've ID'ed the cel! It comes from Eps. 23
The background comes from Eps. 24

And pretty soon you will get to the point where you think $300 is cheap for a cel and you can blow $1,000 easily! I agree with Sensei, the background works well with the cel, even though its stuck and not matching. Congratulations!

Oh god, I know, that day is getting ever too close. Thank you again, glad to see the background partially makes the cel >w< I'm getting her matted today so that she can go into my storage box with all her buddies.

What color mat are you getting!

I'm actually a bit odd when it comes to matting. Most people get the dominant color in an object as the matte, I like to get colors that will enhance not only the overall color but bring out a certain color. so rather than matter her hot pink or pink at all I've decided on the blue of her fuku and eyes. It will make the background pop and bring attention to her eyes and collar. I might double matte though, with blue being the inner ring and hot pink being the outer. All depends!
