Hey it's me again :) I have a little something here for you Yue and Yuki fans :) ... its a little music video (just instrumental music no words or anything) i made a couple of months ago... It's my first one of these sorts of things so it's a little rough around the edges but thought you guys might like it :)

It's got sprinkles of the storyline but not in chronological order. I guess it pans out that it shows Yue as a guardian, then we show the fading power, the famous scene and a bunch of cool clips at the end... interpret it how you want!

Lol yeah some bits don't make sense.. i suppose one day I'll have another shot at it and change a few bits.

Enjoy!

Thank you :) Glad you like it.

lol, as I said some bits don't make sense as I just got random clips and cut them how I like and tried to be clever... like when yue is firing crystals and it goes to the glass breaking above yuki and sakura.. when i think about it, it's kinda symbolic .. when yue appeared it shattered sakura's heart at first but then later she realises yue is okay... xD

...but still think it came out pretty good. :) Lots of Yue goodness.

The music is the title theme from a game called Chrono cross (which I have never played)... I thought it seemed very Yue-ish.. it wierd at bits it sorta matches the images (which are completely muted)... like the transfer scene there's this sort of wind sound effect in the music :)
Argh the low quality doesn't do justice. The original file is 15mb...

Ahh yes hundereds of beautiful cels there to collect! I wonder how many cels there in total for the whole series? I'm sure sensei would probably know xD

Chrono Cross is an absolute must play!! The song in your AMV is the opening theme titled Scars of Time, the most beautiful song I have ever heard from a game. Anywho, play the game one day, you definitely will love it!!

I don't know, but I can make an educated guess. There were 70 episodes, and each episode had around 300 cuts. That's 21,000 cuts total. Some are short, just one A1 end cel. Others very long, as many as 90. Let's say 20 as an average. That would make for 420,000 cels. Plus the two movies, which would (guestimate) amount to six more TV shows, so add 36000 cels there.

So possibly 450,000-500,000 cels, the great majority of which are not worth collecting and so probably have been destroyed or recycled already. Keep in mind, if it moves on the screen, it had to be painted on a cel.

One needs to recognize the work done by the jobbers who purchased the cels in bulk lots and patiently sorted through them to find and stabilize the minority of viewable cels that show up on sale. Not to mention the literally thousands of anonymous and low-paid artists who actually painted the cels in sweatshop conditions, often in Third World countries where the work was outsourced by Japanese studios. One set, according to Jan Scott Frazier, who worked for an animation company in Japan, actually went to a political prisoner's camp in China, where painting cels was the equivalent of making licence plates in the US.

Yes, it is on the PS but can be played on PS2 and certain models of PS3.

I completely agree with duo in saying...
