DBZ now DBK

Post by minigt »

DBZ is being reworked for Japan TV. Cut down to 100 episodes, using old footage with some added new stuff, new sounds and voices.

Not much here, but this is the official DB Kai website.

As long as it's not Goku's original voice actor *shudders*....
Technically isn't it one GIANT CLIP show??? with maybe some new stuff here and there...but I guess I'll still watch it...

Wow. I posted this a while ago and just came back with only one post. I thought there would have been much more talk about this here. I guess the old DBZ fans are slowly dissappearing. :O

Interesting, a remake, eh.

So does it cover everything from the Raditz arc to the buu arc?

Cutting it down to 100 episodes seem better, as I think long isn't necessarily good if there's a lot of filler or slow storyline.

I always liked the dbz movies because the action was so fast and to the point.

Is the animation going to be something like the Dragon Ball Special that popped up before?

I guess I didn't comment because I knew I'd go off about it. DBZ was a classic so I don't get the reason for remaking it. :roll

I really hope that the animation will be like before, but Im thinking it wont be; that it will be just like that DB special that recently came out.
