Outbid! Ebay BGC OVA >_<

Well, I have not-high-enough bidder's remorse! So, if the winner wants to get way above market price for this cel that ended on Ebay very recently, I'm all ears! ;_;

If anyone sees this cel somewhere or knows who bought it, I'd love to know if for no other reason than to put in a polite request for the option to buy some day... some day. -_-

Oh, and I'm open to trades! =D

Lol but the Ghost in the Shell cels demand a rather devoted budget ^^. (Seriously, I think you have really, really great ones... The Motoko eyes moment after she hears the Puppetmaster voice on the boat is to die for

). It's too bad that there aren't really cels for Innocence as well. Also seems like a lot of us tend to like similar groups of anime (GitS in contrast is a huge favourite of mine but I don't have any art either; we're like opposites of ther same coin lol

).

I'd totally make a hard suit if I had the time. I pretty much have the skills. ^_^ Maybe I couldn't make laser-needle-weapons but lord knows I'd try.

I tried putting in another bid at the last second but I got outbid before I could even get it through ^_^; I got absolutely steamrolled in those last fifteen seconds.

I haven't even been able to get any BGC cels for five months now 'cause somebody (wink, wink) keeps grabbing up everything I'm interested in. It's starting to get irritating ^_^;

I'm sorry, but it's not just one person. There's a line of people who do recognise the premium cels when they appear and are willing to bid them up. I think we're pretty much all interested in getting the best cels, not just you two. At least you and I have nice collections already- spare a thought for the people who are just starting out or haven't been so lucky (Ghosty apparently has been a fan for a long time just waiting for the right cel like this to appear, and he didn't win either. My sympathy goes more in that direction if it goes anywhere).

I wanted the cel too. But I'm not complaining, it's just unrealistic not to expect something like the very last shot in the anime, from HL and one the best shots of the whole group go for anything less than where it was climbing towards. Also, taking digs at the winner ('wink wink' 'friendly' or otherwise) isn't justified (yes I know there's a lot of guilty parties out there on that one... FYI I dislike those kinds of threads).

Oh, and congratulations to the winner ^_^. The cel is lovely and it looks great in your gallery. Please let me visit sometime ^^!

And complain afterwards. Fair enough trying, but there's no need to knowingly set yourself up to fail and then try to garner public sympathy for it.

I knew I was gonna lose out, so I'm not surprised. Trust me, if I was butt-hurt about losing a cel, I wouldn't post it on here. I'd only be making a fool of myself.

I'm not trying to get sympathy for losing the cel. This was a shot I was never ever expecting to see (trust me, I knew I wasn't gonna win the moment I saw it LOL), but I'm certainly not surprised that the person who won it, won it. More power to her. We know she will take care of it

My hunt for good Priss cels, however, will never cease. Hahahaha, the thrill of the hunt~

Making snide comments towards someone doesn't really make them want to throw that person a bone if the situation ever arose. I'm growing quite weary of it to be quite honest.

>_<! Well, for my part, I think the cel price was totally reasonable if not low in retrospect. I really like this particular cel (as an artist myself) because it looks like art that can stand on its own (I love the shadows), not just a fraction of a second in a film.

Nene has been completely friendly in our notes and I think that it's cool that she knew the exact scene it was from. I love the series but I admit I didn't know the exact scene! So, I actually and honestly think it has a very good home in Nene's collection!

This certainly isn't the first, and probably not the last, great cel I will miss and I'm sure we can all relate as fans ourselves. ^_^ I'm not that active in the forum, but I do like that it feels like a community, however low the membership numbers might be becoming as people leave the hobby, so we should work to keep it cohesive and nice! =)

It's from the very end of the Asu e Touchdown video in Hurricane Live. They actually show this shot for a couple seconds on the screen. I agree it's totally awesome, and I think if the furor at the end had gone on just a bit longer it could have gotten very ugly, LOL. It went for about what I expected it to (although it going higher wouldn't have surprised me either).

You should've been around when the actual hardsuits were on eBay....eeek!!
