One can never be certain how a series is going to wind up, hence my leeriness in picking Eden of the East.
But, up to now, the show has been lots of fun, from its opening with a real ’90 Britpop song, through its Bourne Identity-ish set-up, its highlighting of up to the minute contemporary Japanese social issues, and even its stop-motion animated ending credits.
This series is the standout of this season so far….
Let’s hope they can keep it up! /no1

I read this thread but rarely know the series. It was a pleasant surprise to recognize one.

I have to agree with you Irmgaard, you never know how a new series is going to go since only a few episodes are out, but Eden of the East is an intiguing one. It has definitely kept my interest when other new series have not.

Anyway, I went back and looked at your update list and didn't see this one on it. I hope I don't make it too easy. So here's the clue....

Two that have a common bond, but different lives even though one wants to own the other who in turn wants to be some part of the first's life. Both are involved in intertwining relationships.

Wow, I must have given an awful clue, I will try to give a hint without giving it away completely.

After the second meeting, these two become friends even though both are very different and each is chasing her own dream they both follow down the path of hardship, romance, heartache and intertwining relationships.

Yes, it was Nana...I'm glad some hint worked.

Actually, the manga is still going even though the anime stopped before some of the real drama happens. Nana and Hachiko (nickname for the other Nana) end up rooming together in Tokyo after a meeting on the train to Tokyo. Nana brings together her band which is named the Black Stones or Blast for short and because of each others involvement both become involved with the rival hometown (now famous) band,Trapnest. It's a great series IMO.

It's one I've been meaning to give another go, I stopped because at the time I was looking for something that was more along the lines of typical shoujo cuteness :P

Alright it's been a while since I've done this :^^:

First hint:

This series is based on and takes place 10 years after a popular playstation game's story. The story centers around three brothers, one of whom is chief of police and is investigating several cases of a mysterious illness.

Just curious, is there a compiled list of anime's that have been used so far in this thread?

This series contains triplet maids who are part of a health department serving their young master. However, they are constantly trying to perform lewd acts on thier master due to their lustfull imaginations.
