The 42,590 hits update! (CCS, CotS, Rainbow Brite)

For no reason other than "I feel like it", I've updated my gallery with a bunch of new items. Updated sections include: Cardcaptor Sakura, Rainbow Brite and Seikai no Monshou.

Although the site is still under construction, I encourage you to poke around at the updates from December 2009 onward, which is when the gallery was delisted so I could poke at it a bit. I never did end up doing much...

Now what you need to do is animate your A1 Black Light and your A2 Normal Light into a flicker and use it as an avatar! I've already send email kudos, but your CCS additions are amazingly strong additions, particularly the Cards.

Hah, I totally could not rest until I had some idea of what this was supposed to look like. So I tried it out myself.

Don't worry, it's completely innocuous. And pay no attention to the guy with the crowbar standing outside by the U-haul truck. He's probably helping someone in the neighborhood move some unwanted stuff.

Belldandy: I've actually contacted S/R Labs about getting that pan restored. It's just too neat to let sit in that condition. I hope their quote is reasonable...

I'm probably a little too old and a little too male to really appreciate Rainbow Brite, but I'm glad you were able to obtain such high quality cels for a series where not many have survive! Your CcS Card collection was already really impressive, and these new additions make it even more so. ^_^ I think I've already commented on them before, but I also like the other updates, and glad the gallery is opened back up again!

Rainbow Brite was definitely aimed at early-elementary aged girls, so you're right in that it's not exactly your demographic.

But it was an adorable show and the movie is actually very good. TV cels were either destroyed or wiped clean for reuse, so finding entire set-ups is like a dream come true!

My card collection is certainly growing. I now have 70 Clow Card cels/backgrounds, representing 34 of the 52 possible cards. The person I traded with can certainly attest to my excitement at getting so many awesome card cels, given the number of exclamation points I used in our correspondence.

And yep - the gallery is reopened for a bit. Still some housekeeping to do, so it might go up/down depending on my mood. But thanks for visiting! Check back next week for a new Miyuki cel.
