Moose turns 6 update

Well I know it's been way too long since I sat down and scanned and updated the gallery.

I guess I just needed a proper reason and those of you who know me and my history know I have liked to tie an update to one of our cats birthdays. Now Moose was 3 when we adopted him from Kitten Rescue a few weeks after we lost Snowball who we had for 20 years. So here is the birthday boy.

Congratulations to Moose and to you for having given a needy animal a worthy home. He looks happy and well satisfied at the results of his work to train his humans to do his bidding. You will, of course, feed him before you wash the dishes in the sink.

I always enjoy looking through your Ai Yori Aoshi collection. J. C. Staff (who also did Asatte no Houkou, a series I love dearly) brought a high level of elegance to their CGI series, and your new sketches nicely show this series' quiet humor. I thought Aoi in cat ears was delightfully appropriate to the update, and the others are pleasantly smile-provoking, especially the group shot and this really pretty portrait of Aoi.

Everyone should have a passion, and I'm happy AYA (and Kitten Rescue) are yours.

Yes Moose fit right in and is a constant source of amusment for us along with Josie who will turn 9 in August.

I have been lucky a lot of nice AYA sketches as well as those from Enishi the 2nd season have been coming up at reasonable prices. It has been a couple of years since we have rewatched the series but we can still just look at a sketch and identify whats going on in the scene. That is a hallmark of a well written series in which one can develop an emotional attachment for the characters.

I guess that seems to be the case for all the series we collect even if they may seem a little out of the mainstream.

Congrats on the new items, I love the Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi group genga and I thought the Ranma 1/2 embarrassed cel was very cute.

Happy (belated) birthday to Moose! He's such a lovely boy, and he looks very content and comfy in his home.

Congrats on a wonderful update! I enjoyed reading the comments on everything and looking at everything. But I think my favorites were the pan sketches of Aoi in her tennis outfit and this Ranma 1/2 cel of Ranma and Akane at the dojo. I just love the angle and details on that cel. Fantastic. Visiting your Ranma collection always makes me want to watch that show. Great stuff!!
