17 inches high! :)

This pan sketch of Kino has a width of 18 inches and a quarter, and is now my largest piece. I didn't get around to measuring it until today when I posted it to RS.

It's hard to beat Nakamura's film A Tree of Palme for its sometimes surreally humongo production art.

I have a hybrid cel/background layer that is actually 18 inches high and 25.5 inches wide. That was so bulky that I had to order a special storage box to store it and and its marginally smaller other layers and gengas.

But if you go by one dimension, I actually have another Palme background that is 26.5 inches wide (but only 11.75 in. tall).

Gallery is closed pending some new items, but the links above do work to get to the individual pages.

I have two items that are pretty much tied for largest. I have a pan background from "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" (the 1979 BBC two parter) that is 32 inches long:

and a cel setup from Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (a book cel with a foreground, background and two cel layers) that is 32 inches long as well:

The cels on the second one are custom cut pieces of acetate and are the same size as the background.
