Earlier this year Maria & I we invited to visit the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society in Burbank Ca.to display a portion of our collection as well as to give a talk to them about our experiences as collectors of Comic and Anime artwork. It was a nice evening.

That's pretty neat!
I was thinking about Lovecraft when I seen those horrible creatures at the end of Overlords third season.
I didn't know they had such a place in Burbank.

Awesome. How long did they have your art on display?
I'm sorry I didn't know about it.
Is the place open to the public? I've never been inside, but I've driven by it.
I think it's on Victory near Griffith Park.

I had the artwork there for only 1 Saturday evening .
Their shop is located at 1644 Victory Blvd.,
Glendale, CA 91201
http://www.hplhs.org/index.php
They are open to the public Monday - Fridays 9-5 but they do sometimes work on the weekends holding special events and may be willing to open up if you call them during the week.
Their location houses a large collection of Lovecraft related books as well as props from the movies they have made as well as their store items and they are good people.

That's very impressive (love the Belldandy hanken!!!), especially the way the display is kept very informal, so that people could walk around and among the framed images and posterboards, talk, sit, read, compare, etc. Very much a sharing of art rather than a museum "display" that always seems just a little chilly.
And it is always an upbeat when people really want to appreciate the art you've got. You're lucky to have the art you have, and lucky to have friends who appreciate that.

How fun! And I didn't realize you had a Crest of the Stars piece!
