Info for those who may be thinking on getting the zenbu 24

Well,
I'm one of those who decided to get the catalog and since for sure there's people wondering if there will be something they like on the lottery i offer myself to answer questions that are cel related of what's on the catalog and their fixed price. Of course i don't know all the series and/or characters but i'm sure that with the help of other people that have also purchased the catalog we can barely give you info (the catalog is in japanese only and i don't know a bit of japanese). Also please don't ask for scans (at least from me, as my right arm is broken, yes, literally, so i can't be doing scans right now, just type with my left hand

).

Here's some info about cels from series that i recognize and that i consider popular:

Ah My Goddess: 4 cels, and some reproductions. From the info page, the one on the left is a reproduction if i'm not mistaken.

Card Captor Sakura: 6 cels. Nothing specially different from what you can ussually find on Yahoo Japan or other Mandarake auctions.

Nadesico: 3 cels. One Yurika. No ruri.

KOR: 6 cels. (I'm going for some of these so plz restrain yourselves from ordering them ^__^)

Evangelion: 3 cels and a few reproductions. 2 of them are on the preview page, but the one on the left is a reproduction.

Slayers: Only cel as far as i can see. The xellos featured on the preview page.

To Heart: 8 cels. The best ones are on the preview page.

Noir: 2 cels, 1 Kirika (on the preview page) and one really nice Chloe

Sailormoon: 4 cels, nothing really worth imo.

Maison Ikokku: 3 cels

Ranma: 12 cels

Rurouni Kenshin: Just the Aoshi that is featured on the preview page.

For those interested in sketches i haven't seen any from popular series like Naruto of FMA, well to be precise i have only seen sketches from what seem to be many old shows

Very kind of you to offer! I've never done any of the mandarake things. By any wild chance, is there anything from G Gundam in there? Never heard any gundam stuff mentioned on related threads.

I would like to know if there are any cels or sketches from the anime show "Meitantei Conan" / Detective Conan...or if you really need the Funimation name "Case Closed".

ah, yep, my right hand is the writing one, but oh well, i can manage more or less with the left hand ^_^

mmm, lets see......

gundam cels, gundam cels..... i have only watched Gundam Wing and Gundam X so i don't really know if there's something from G Gundam.... I only saw one of 0083 Stardust Memories (the label is partially in english)

for the evangelion cels....... the two that appear on the preview page have a catalog price of 70000Y each...... and there's another one of Rei in the pool that is 80000Y, but this last one is not as good as the other two..... Then, the two reproductions (or limited editions as they are called on the catalog) have catalog prices of 35000Y and 40000Y

mmm, metantei conan, lets see... if i'm not mistaken there are 3 cels, 2 of them are for the main girl wh is friend or girlfriend of conan.... don't remember her name..... and the other one of a girl that i don't know who she is. Their prices range from 2500Y to 4000Y

I haven't seen very far into the series since fansubbers are really slow - only one subbing group had picked it up, since its a old/long running series and not so popular among the masses. So I don't know their relations, scans would be awesome if you are able to....slowly and carefully so you dont further injure yourself

From the sound of everything, they make me think that the Zenbu is like this massive catlogue....the kind that would make the college edition webster dictionary pale.

I was hoping it there was any cels/sketches of Conan / or Shinichi his former self that I would really put in a shot for it. But I've seen whats on YJ, and not really worth the price & shipping & deputy fees....

*sigh*

BTW, my friend thinks their lottery/auction method of Zenbu is way odd/weird/crazy/jippy of money for a "possible" chance to buy them, LOL

mmm, lets see, lain? mmm, nope, no lain cels.....
and no haibane material..... the only thing i have ever seen from haibane renmei is one rilezu some time ago on YJ but not sketches......

ah, yeah, the zenbu catalog is a huge thing.... this was my first time ordering it. I never believed on these catalog things but there are some cels that i want to try getting ^__^ The catalog itself is about 450 pages long, but there are only about 400 cel related items.... and about half of them are from those old style series (heidi, anne of the green gables and such). To tell the truth i have been dissapointed with the catalog content besides the few things i would like to get (that's why i decided to make this thread so people doesn't just get a catalog for nothing)

definately your friend is right about this zenbu/lottery thing. To tell the truth i don't trust it very much. Not only the make money making you purchase a catalog that otherwise you would not purchase, but also they can sell (or not sell) what they want to the person they want. Definately this lottery thing sounds so fishy.

Okay I went and stuck the links to the page scans on a quickly put together page. I only scanned pages 331-350 and 355. I didn't scan the "childrens anime" cels section (like Anne of the Green Gables, etc) or the sketches/dougas, scripts, storyboards or in one case - a separate background set from an anime I don't recognize.

Sorry to hear about your arm. Heal up quickly. You surprised me though when you said that you don't know a bit of Japanese.

Well there are those Moonlight Lady sketches. Those are pretty new. j/k

But everything else...yeah it sure looks that way. They're just about all Anne of the Green Gables, Nausicaa and Lupin. The original storyboards look like they mostly come from older children's anime. One of them looks familiar, but I don't know the name of the title.

can't you just submit the form online, without a catalog? I haven't seen this chloe yet, but I hope we won't be in competition. I'm more of a kirika collector, but if it's really enticing it might be difficult to resist.
