I would really have to love the other person to let that sort of thing go.

Although, I have to admit that I am very picky about what goes into our house. I like my rooms laid out a certain way and that includes dictating what goes on the walls. Like no posters unless they're first run printings of concert or movie posters. No prints unless they're hand signed and numbered. I just like orginals better I'd rather pay thousands to get an original than hundreds to get a copy.

I just feel that we bought a house so why should I decorate like I'm still in a dorm And just why did we buy all those cels if we can't enjoy them?

Ok and I suppose it helps that I am kind of.... maybe.... high matinence.

I'm just going to ignore how many of those questions I answered yes on.

I'll also fail to mentioned that all the furniture in addition to the artwork has to be "just so". There was quite an argument once about all the reasons I thought we couldn't put a desk in the dining room. Afterall the dining room should have dining room furniture in desks should be confined to the home office.

er...I mean just ignore that I'm low matinence, really.... :emb

Ah yes, my domicile so screams intellectual grad student...

Oh and you could send a pic to Jen just fine. The house would be piles of video games and wallpapered in posters if I wasn't around.

I'm a dork first super anal interior decorator second so our gaming space is different. We have standees and promo posters all over the place.Which metal gear btw? We're jealous.

And I love spawn figures so I make exceptions. I even used one as part of a presentation in one of classes once. My prof was quite amused. There are 5 or six in my home office a whole bunch in our guest room and a few that have escaped into the rest of the house. I just hide them when we have guests.

Heh, ask and ye shall receive. I decided to take a D-Cam to my abode, at least, a few angles of it. Behold, a rare glimpse into the crazy appartment of Startyde and his roommates...

WOW, awesome pics. Haha, you'll find nothing in my dorm.....just my bed, computer, some clothes.....I don't bring much....oh and my roommate in the room hiding.... I'm hardly in my OWN dorm.... too busy hanging with study buddies & people attempting to tutor me ^_^

But I must say, if I had my own place one day, my sig. other better let me hang some animation ^_^
I'd make my own personal theater room in my dream house for anime....and I guess my sig. other can use it for movies and console games/computer integration.

What are the cool winged things on your dresser, Starzie? And I love all the Zoids in your roommate's room! (My boys grew weary of the Zoids craze way before mom was tired of buying them! ;))

You love all the Zoids in your roommate's room. What do you like about all the Zoids in your roommate's room so much?

Nah, those are just old comics...mostly Venom comics, as I was obsessed with him for most of my younger childhood.

The Metal Gear was pure luck. The local EB by my school had it in their window, and I asked for it forever and they kept saying ask the manager. Well, I finally asked the manager and he said sorry, but it's going home with him. As I paid for my game he noticed my school ID and saw that I went to Clark University. Come to find out, he was a Clark alumni and after a few minutes of chatting said he would call me when they were done with it. Two weeks later, bam...Metal Gear goodness baby...

You Lucky SOB. I'm jealous that's awesome. Not that I can complain Jen's a game store manager so we pretty much get anything we want these days. :D

To prove that the dork in me is stronger than the interior decorator, a pic of our game space. We're in the process of remoldeling so this is temporary setup but, it's a good sampling of what our game collection looks like. I'd say there's about 150 or so games not pictured though as those are in the guest room. There's also quite a few figures, posters and other fun stuff missing as all the games are currently sitting in something much like a hallway.
