Okay, I'll admit that Touya Akira is pretty cute....but.....all I really want to do is ask him what kind of conditioner he uses! :rollin

Aw, if I met him in real life I'd probably end up slapping him within the first five minutes. (what a wallower! :P) Give me Sai instead any day!!!!

Lynxa - you are too funny!! :P You have to
remember that Akira hangs out with adults
only. That right there is perfect reason to be
so totally stressed. X| But you are correct,
Sai is an absolute doll. :)

Speaking of loving HnG, you should check out
all my new HnG genga sets I just updated with.
There is certainly some beautiful artwork to be
had from this anime.

Oooooo!!!! You have Ogata vs Touya Meijin!!!!! And Kaga and Isumi!!!! (I have a little crush on Isumi too :^^: ).

I have cautiously started peeking around for some artwork, but I don't know if I'll ever be serious competition what with my serious Furuba habit and all. :P

Looks like me and Baylor's gonna have to duke it out on who gets to glomp Touya-kun. :crazy

You were definitely right on this one....I was reading the manga, but had one of THOSE weekends. I started watching HnG and could not stop. In fact, I came home at lunch and watched a episode b/c I couldn't stop thinking about what was going to happen next at the end. My daughter loves it and has watched it several times. I should have listened to her sooner.

Anyway, personally, I think I have a little crush on Isumi and Waya, but Hikaru is the one who stole my heart at the end when he looks so much older. How can they change so much in 2 1/2 years. I also love Hikaru's influence on Touya Akira....he's such a cutie, too.

What a wonderful series with so many bishies...let's not forget Ogata....he looks like a grown-up Yuki from Gravitation.... :drool

Oh ya, I really loved the storyline, too and who said there wasn't any fighting...the strategy, mental battles, and rivalry in these Go matches are as intense and any fight.

Who says there's no fighting in Yakitate?? :P ("What did you say?" <-- don't know how to write it in Japanese...)

We've got the pounding of the dough, the flailing swords (cutting up ingredients), sweat running down their faces as they try desperately to knead un-kneadable dough... Hairstyles changing... people posing in dough... the drama never ends :-)

I still can't believe how great a show about bread is :D

Okay, I've made it to episode 54 and I wish Akira and Hikaru would just give up and make out already! Jeez! :rollin

I just keep feeling like there's a big Frodo/Sam man-kiss around the corner with all the heated looks from across crowded rooms and excited staring. :rollin

And, God help me, I'm starting to think Touya Meijin is kinda sexy too...... X|

Pudge's plan...

1. buy up HNG sketches
2. promote the series
3. profit

Heh, joke. Seriously though I went and got a copy and enjoyed it immensely as well. Think my ebay source was a bit questionable though -_-! Any rate, loved the show, but I'll leave collecting the sketches to others. I was wondering though, how far does the manga take the storyline?

Not a lot farther actually. It kinda leaves you hanging
as well. Its too bad, though, that the anime didn't at
least go up as far as the manga. It just kinda stopped
dead in its tracks. :?

As for my profitability - I am sorely lacking. Even if
I made a profit, it would jut get spent on other sketches
or cels. This is one of those habits that you only profit
if your not a user. Its no wonder I am so terribly
broke. :P
