Do you like your job?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I'm really, really considering it.. but... I don't know... 2:30 hour movie.... shower before bed... in bed between 3~3:30a.m.... awake for work by 6:30-ish...
I don't know if I can take that...
I'll probably wuss out and go Sunday afternoon or something.
Or! I could go to bed now and then wake up for the movie and just stay up the rest of the night. Hmmmm.... *plots*

Have some extra buttery heart stopping popcorn for me!

I'll watch it out here next year, when it finally makes it here.

(I finally finished reading the last book! I reread from book 4 to get reaquainted with everything. It was much better! I like the way the language/writing is more mature, along with the situations and the characters. Much more like fantasy books I'm used to.)

Well the film started screening here today (only a few days behind the US, which is pretty good considering we get some titles with a 6-month delay)... and being home sick with a cold I decided to catch the 1pm show... it was sold out! In three cinemas! And so was the 4:30 show! And they only had a couple of seat for the later shows! Why arent people woking on a Friday noon like they are supposed to be! >_<
Seeing how things looked today I wont bother trying on Sat or Sunday.. will probably see it on Monday afternoon.. no crowds ^_^ *hates crowded cinemas*
Hope it is worth waiting for... and everying who is going today or on the weekend: have fun!

I got to see the midnight showing. I liked it. Fleur wasn't as pretty as I thought that she would be. I liked Cho, she had a cute british accent (I have never seen an asian girl speak with a british accent before).
Though it felt rushed. Not that I blame them. The book had so much stuff in it that it was a wonder that they got to include what they did. I also liked that they changed a few things. Like the dragon scene was extended. |

Movies
You can read a review in my gallery's weblog http://blackflame.rubberslug.com/gallery/weblog.asp
I'll spare the details but say that a lot was sacrificed (characters + scenes) to make the movie. It is very emotional, I must say---- much more darker than the last movie. And Cho is speaking with an Irish accent, which was a neat touch.
I liked it but it left me wanting more---- I'll have to see it again, soo much you missed the first time and want to review. Like the excellent character development scenes btwn the leads--- my, how they've grown up!
There's lots of chuckles but ultimately this is a sad movie---- sort of but not quite like Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith-ending sad.

Yay! The snake didn't blink!
Confused? See this: http://thesnakesden.rubberslug.com/gall ... iesID=1206
I really liked it. The movie did cut a lot of the subplots that are in the book, but that's expected with such a complicated main story I would think. I appreciate the darker tone, and the ending was very intense, shocking, and enjoyable.
I would totally see it again.
I love Snape...

I like the bugs in the movie Starship Troopers, because they represent an alternative form of intelligence, like me.

WOW! The special effects are great! But if I hadn't read the book, I wouldn't have understood hardly anything. There's so much story untold in the movie. I know there are time constraints. I liked the movie overall though.
But Fleur just wasn't as pretty as I imaged she would be. I guess I was expecting her to be like Armstrong in FMA with little sparkles around her at all times.

Interesting. Is this what you call a "word problem".

2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
