That is a beautiful shikishi Rei. Did you get that when Clamp visited the US, or did you win it on auction? Sorry, I'm a bit curious ^_^

There is no need to apologize. ^_^ is an interesting subject to me too.

Oh, I LOVE this thread! The best part about framing is the finished look. Cels are awesome. But, putting them up ont he walls makes them extra special.

Here are a few of my favorite frames (pictures don't do them justice). What makes these extra special to me is that most of my frames (except for 4) were made by myself. I think framing is a work of art in itself.

Here are my favorite frames:

RoboFlonne wrote:Wow! Pixie_princess!!! Image That's a really nice Sketch!!! How did you watermark it like that?
Thank you RoboFlonne :)
I took my sketch watermark image (basically my gallery url) and pasted that layer on top and trimmed till it only fit over the sketch portion. Then I turned it transparent enough to just barely be visible. I was hoping not to distract too much, yet still protect it. :)
That's a really great idea! Can't wait to see more cels and sketches you have framed!! Image

My god, that snow white is gorgeous! Love the way you framed it especially. Was curious how you do the "bead-esque" looking thing on the matte of the Cinderella?

I have one framed cel.
I bought it framed.
I ruined the background attempting to deframe the cel because I realized the seller lied to me about one of the layers whenever it was sold to me. Or they just didn't know alot about cels and just assumed.
it is somewhere in my room... it is not a great cel so i do not care. :x

O_O wow. Not that the cel wasn't beautiful enough, but I love that matte work/framing.
