Priss-Chan –

Awful that you witnessed that terrible day. Few of us (thankfully) have experiences that compare, especially from such a young age.

I’ve learned that one never “get’s overâ€

No, haven't heard of that one. I suppose I could put it on my to-watch list.

Priss~ I'm sure you may have mentioned this before somewhere, but where were you when it happened? Forgive me, but I can't remember if the events took place in the library or cafeteria. :sweatdrop

And if it's too painful to talk about I totally understand. :friends:

I was in the back of the library, by the windows. The shooting was mostly confined to outside the cafeteria and inside the library.

I'm very sorry to hear what you've been thru'. It was a horrific incident and it's natural to feel stress about it. Like what others have suggested, I think you need some sort of closure, like talking to others who experienced the same thing or seeing a professional. The hard part is finding what gives you closure. If things get to tough, enjoy a lil' escapism by looking thru' your cels or juz chilling at home and watching anime/ manga.

I actually don't think I've talked with anybody from the school since I graduated in '01 o.o*

I'm not sure it's something that made the national news, but there was a chemical "spill" at the school in '04. A teacher was transferring a chemical from one bottle to another, and the one he was transferring it to hadn't been cleaned out properly, so it ended up going boom. As luck would have it, my little brother was in the very next room. The fumes from the chemical ended up burning his eyes and he had to get decontaminated in the school parking lot and go to the ER. He ended up spending the next week on the couch having to put this medicinal goop into his eyes. But he healed up fine, and we actually laugh about it now.

(He was the only one from the other room that went to the ER, but he's sure others must have been affected.)

Yup yup, good times ^_^

As for escapism, I've been chugging down hot cocoa like mad (I have yet to find anything hot cocoa doesn't cure), and watching plenty of anime, and also working on my newest fanfic.

As far as cels go, I have four Itoya books full of 'em 8O Mostly cels and douga/genga, but also some chirashi and fanart. Geez. Almost makes me wonder if I should cut back... Nah :P
