Arguing the lack of physics accuracy in a Star Trek film is like complaining that Megan Fox doesn't have her doctorate.

Heh! You have to suspend disbelief for scifi, which, by definition, is fiction! Scientists agree pretty much that you can't travel at the speed of light or faster, and even if you could, there are no habitable planets we could reach - if there ARE any habitable planets.

So ... I adore scifi for the simple reason that it's escape and wonder and speculation and just plain fun.

When I used to do more writing, I loved making up my own worlds. Maybe I have a creator-complex (whaddya call it?).
