Anyway, back to the topic.. I voted yes (or try to) even though I have almost nothing in my Rubberslug gallery. I actually have almost everything scanned but I am working on a cool Flash gallery to put them in. So I will use that excuse for now

If I were to put an item online after I agreed not to, then I would be breaking my promise. Honestly that is worse in my book than not being able to show something online. When something's yours you should do with it what you see fit. If you want to display it online, you damn well should and no-one should have any complaints. I respect you for wanting to keep the peace Remi, but if it were me I might even display it just to annoy the person/people who objected. They are selfish and plain stupid- it has no effect on them and life's too short to worry about a few ignorant, faceless internet users.
I voted no, because there is a point in spending a lot of money for the cels or sketches and not putting it up. I didn't buy them so that I could please other people, its for my own enjoyment.wwwpurple-plumcom wrote:Ya,
but I noticed some people don't always post their whole gallery or parts of it is restricted and that way I can't see some of their beautiful cel. What's the point of paying a lot of money...if you're the only one who gets to see them?

There's that, and there's another, perhaps more motivating reason for people for whom giving their word isn't enough. Most of the time, the seller is someone who could very potentially have something else you want to buy in the future. If you agree not to show something, and then go ahead and do it once you have it, the chances of that person contacting you the next time they sell something, whether it can be posted online or not, is pretty slim.Dustie wrote:Krafty wrote:If I were to put an item online after I agreed not to, then I would be breaking my promise. I completely appreciate your views Dustie/Remi, I too am very considerate of other people's feelings and would abide by their wishes if it were important to them/our friendship/my honour.Remi wrote: There's that, and there's another, perhaps more motivating reason for people for whom giving their word isn't enough. That's an incredibly cruel but ingenious idea BO! Please go for it! ^__^BleedingOrange wrote:I always thought it'd be kind of funny if I posted an image of a cel that had been burned to a crisp, but just enough of it left to tell what it was... and it was an AMAZINGLY RARE cel.
