#1 The best toys are the ones unintended to be so.
You can buy the most expensive toy, it can light up, play a tune, shake, make a squeak, etc. and the cat will want the box it came it.

#2 Cats let you know if there is anything wrong.... if it pertains to them.
For example, the other day my kitten came up to me, started meowing away, and when I asked her what was it, she went over to the water dish, which had a piece of dry food in it, and stared at it. She wasn't happy until she got a new bowl of water. O_o
#3 The imaginary object....
I have a cat who liked to stare at the wall, then suddenly presses both paws to it as if she caught something. Obviously, after checking many times, she didn't, but she found it fun to see the reaction... "Ah! Did you catch something..... *hopeful* no, of course not."

#4 Cats are ever so mischievous...
Here we have the classic example of a cat that loves catching falling leaves outside. Well one day, said cat is holding something in it's paws and I went to see what it was. {He tends to catch Butterflies, Grasshoppers, etc.} He saw me coming and edged around so I couldn't see his paws. I went around him as asked, "What do you have?" As I should have expected he peeked into his paws and back at me. Then suddenly, he got up and ran off. He didn't have anything, yet purposely made a big issue of it. I think what was worse, was that I swore that cat was laughing at me, he sure gave me a big smile whenever he saw me for the rest of the day.

#5 Mole
The unintended game late at night when you are trying to sleep. Even my kitten picked up on that one. In her case, it all started when I moved my foot, which was under the covers, from one area to another, and she thought it was a game. When I moved my foot away from her claws, which was a BIG mistake, she saw it as attempting to illude her and proceeded to chase it all around. It has been dubbed Mole. Lol.
#6 If the cat doesn't want to be found, it won't be.
My mom had a cat that went missing one day. After a few hours of being gone, we went looking all over the house, in his favorite spots, calling him, nothing. Then my mom went to do the laundry and sorted out the kitty. He had hopped in the clothes basket and fallen asleep, and unknowingly she had set some clothes right on top of him. Now she checks the basket more often.

#7 If you let a cat outside, it's going to bring a friend back....
My previous cat, who was a boy, loved to go roaming about the yard for a few minutes every so often, and cried until you let him out. Well one day he clawed on the door, the usual sign I should let him in, now. So I went to let him in and he bounds down the steps on me. I went after him to where he showed me a female 'dirt colored', [if you have ever dug a hole deep, and seen the light brown, dark brown and blacks all together, you'll know what I mean], who was quite meek, she only said 'mew', kitty. So I calmly asked him if this was a new friend and he meowed at me. I just smiled and asked her if she wanted some food. She had the cutest expression of 'really?' When I brought her the food she gobbled it down and left. Strangely enough, he never brought another friend by....
Ah cats,
