I've been thinkin' about it!!!! It's really close.....I might have to take off a day of work, though.

I'm going to ask around and see if anyone would want to carpool with me before I make a final decision. Where is the hotel? Is it still out by the airport?

Registrations using the mail-in form (the one below or on the website), is closed after the 6th (meaning the membership request has to be POSTMARKED by May 6) Online registrations using credit cards (or Paypal account, or e-check) will be open until May 10th. After these dates, memberships will have to be purchased on-site (at the higher price), but don’t worry, we don’t have a membership cap, so you can still get

HOTEL ROOMS: Book your rooms FAST before the hotel sells out of some types of rooms, or closes our block (which will happen within the next week or two). Phone number is 214-922-8000. Mention A-Kon to get in on our room block (the normal price is WAY higher). (The hotels within walking distance are at least $30 higher per night for the CHEAPEST of them - we checked.)

Prices are unchanged from last year, even though gas & everything else is up! The value is phenomenal for all we have going on! All memberships include program book, while supplies last. All weekend memberships include concert admission - including the big “Night of Fire” multi-group/dance party on Friday, and the Kumiko Kato concert on Saturday. Single-day memberships include concert admission to whatever performance is happening on that day.

HOTEL PRICES: Hotel Rooms: $135 (plus tax) for 1-4 people (you can get more in there, just do it QUIETLY!) NOTE: Dallas hotel tax is 15%, so
figure that into your budget. 214-922-8000 is the hotel's direct line -
use that for all reservations. You MUST MENTION A-KON to get this Kon
rate (normal rate for this hotel is $250/night, or $189 on special, so
we got a REALLY good rate)
PARKING: Hotel garage - $14/day (with in/out privileges). Parking lots across the street and around the various blocks are $.75-5.00/day and are within a couple blocks walk of the hotel. We hope to have maps up shortly. The bus and train drop off across the street from the hotel's door and have free park-n-ride lots in various parts of the city.

Just got the confirmation of my order ! I'm going to try to go all 3 days, but may have to settle for just Friday and Saturday. Anyone else know when their going to be there ?

Ive been really thinking about going as well. I wanted to go a few years ago. Becuase my FAV! anime voice was there *sniffles* But I didnt get to go..so who knows maybe this year.
