What did you get your mom/wife?

EDIT: Or if you are the mom/wife what do you want/receive?

Well, I bought my mom some DVDs. And, we got the same thing for my mother-in-law. But, I voted for "anime cels" because that is what I got. This OAV Aya cel was my early mom's day gift from my hubby and my little princess: http://www.s94065996.onlinehome.us/cel- ... a-6-bk.jpg. :)

I voted 'just a card' because my mom would rather I save my extra money and fly out to San Francisco to visit her, than send a gift :D. I plan to do just that in a couple of months :) - yay - vacation!

That's good information: zerospace said it voted 'just a card' because your mom would rather you save your extra money and fly out to San Francisco to visit her than send a gift d you plan to do just that in a couple of months smile - yay - vacation.

Mothers day gifts

Post by JWR »

As far as for my mom & mother in-law I take them out to a brunch on mothers day.

As to my wife who shares our hobby of cel & comic book art, She has already earmarked a couple of items on YJ (sorry in advance if I bid against or outbid any beta members, Just following ORDERS! :D )

Plus we are waiting to hear back from the Anime Museum on a couple of Rilezu's from Modaka to order.

Yeah it sounds like a lot but... 8th = mothers day 9th = her birthday + recovering from her dislocated shoulder = $$$$$ :P

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Just finished up sending flowers to both moms.
And I have to say, Kansas is STILL cheaper than New York!!
I was able to throw in a mylar balloon in Kansas and it was still half the price of those New York flowers.... 8O :?

For me? I'm not a mother, so... nada.

I plan on calling my mother and giving her a card when she comes out to visit the next weekend for my graduation. I'm sure that if she wanted a gift, she'd ask for something strange like a new dishwasher...
