Cutting edge research
From this weeks news....
In research published in May in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Biologist Brian Langerhans and colleagues found that large genitals in some fish species (such as the western and Bahamas mosquito fish) represent evolutionary pluses and minuses.
Apparently, females prefer well-endowed partners, but on the other hand, well-hung males tend to have shorter life spans because , weighted down as they are, they can not swim away from predators as nimbly as can mosquito fish with smaller endowments.

Are you serious? I'm waiting.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Exactly how bored a scientist do you have to be when you decided to a study about mosquito fish ?
Except of course if there was a free trip to the bahama's into it
By the way... I'm trying to get a grant to go study sand in Hawaii !

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

I understand. How much do you think bored a scientist do you have to be when you decided to a study about mosquito fish is? Can you name an old hobby that you might like to rediscover?
