Yep watched it on opening day. Sad to see that at the second showing (we showed up about 10 minutes after it was supposed to start, but we all know that means ads for 15 minutes) there was only about 20 or so people in the crowd.
Think because I went in there expecting the worst I was really pleased at it. Good show for a straight up shooter. Also loved near the ending... where... yeah. =) Won't give out the secret.
Funny how the followed Doom 3 more than the previous two.

Double post, sorry but the site messed up.
ANYWAY, I'd ideally like to see a Doom movie based on Doom 2, that could include some inventive badies- like the pink brain on robotic legs. Like Kranng from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, only bigger and with some mean weaponry.

Sounds good, I've been anticipating this movie for 5 or 6 years since they announced it was being made; so I hope it's worth the wait, despite the dodgy actor list, heh. If it has some scarey Imps or the Baron of Hell I'll be satisfied. However, isn't it based on Doom 3 more than anything?
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...
