Questions about E's Otherwise

I finally finished it. LOVED IT! But I have some questions.

In obvious anime form they have an ending that leaves you hanging a bit. I'm just curious how old this show is and if there's been any rumblings of continuing the story via movie or OVA? I felt so cheated that we didn't see what happened to each of the psychics including Kai. I wanted to know what happened to the twins after Shenlu impailed Shenlon. Did he get her to return for her memory fix? Did Maxim vanish in the wind or is he lurking? Did Kai and Eiji live or die? It's driving me nuts. The ending credits showed some harmony scenes of various characters, but I couldn't really tell who or what they were doing. Were those scenes there to answer some questions we had?

I think the ending scenes did answer a couple questons, but I felt the same way you did, Goldknight. Sorry I don't have any answers.
