The "Barnyard" animation movie just out -

Post by hobbywhelmed »

Ok, so the lead character is bovine. (The voice is provided by Kevin Whats-is-name from King of Queens - ). The lead character is consistently referred to as "he".

Ok, so you want to stretch the term "cow" to refer to any bovine of the species, male or female. Guess they want to avoid having any unexpected "bull" jokes.

BUT WHY, OH WHY, OH WHY, DOES HE HAVE A FOUR-TEAT UDDER JUST LIKE THE FEMALES?!?!?!?

Is this movie being advertised all innocent to drag people in - and then they find out it's really Bovines Don't Cry? The Bovine Cage? Brokebull Mountain? The Adventures of Cowscilla of the Desert?

I really don't care if my animated animals stand on two legs and talk and weave devious plans for world domination. But I'm standing firm on the universal-udder principle!

You really do? But I care about it.

They changed genders in "Chicken Little" too which I found kinda weird.

I have no idea why they would do that. :shrug
