The Grand Finale(Offers)

Post by Ms. Poe »

It’s been a fun 12 years people. But now that I’m all growed up and have bills to pay, etc…I can no longer afford this hobby I love so dearly. In the past 6 months, rarely do I pay attention to cels any more (for more reasons than one). So, I’m selling most everything I own. Yes, there are a few things I will keep. Mainly due to the fact I love the art and story so much of certain pieces of work. All others, no matter how rare they are, I’m willing to part with. Thus, I am opening up my gallery to offers:

http://mspoe.rubberslug.com/gallery/home.asp

You will notice I’ve hidden a few things I’m going to keep. Those items are non-negotiable. But, if you have thousands of dollars to throw around…By all means, send me an offer. I always entertain offers.

Otherwise, all other cels, drawings, etc. are up for offers. SERIOUS OFFERS ONLY! Most of you know what I’ve paid for a lot of these cels. Keep that in mind when sending me an offer. A lot of things I may have bought cheap, but is worth thousands. KEEP THAT IN MIND! If you don’t know how much something is worth, ask around, ask me, research it on dealers sites, Y!J, etc. Most of these cels I would never sell in the past, even with offers for thousands of dollars. Now, those offers will stand.

I would e-mail ppl back who were interested in certain items before, but since my compie died a horrible death earlier in the year, I lost all of those e-mails. Gomen.

**************************************************

I WILL ACCEPT PAYMENT PLANS.

Due to the nature of most of these cels being expensive, I will accept payment plans. Here are the rules for said payment plans:

You make your own. I have had ppl in the past say they’ll pay in a few months and then 8 months later show up with a final payment. If you say you can have it paid off in 2 months…You WILL have it paid off in 2 months. After your time is up, you waive all right to the money you’ve already paid, and the item in question. I understand stuff happens in life. But, I’ve heard too many excuses that I know weren’t true in the past. I know…a few bad apples ruins it for everybody. Sad isn’t it?

That being said, plan accordingly for your payment plan. Plan for that dream cel to show up next month on Y!J. Plan to have enough money for that and paying me off. If you know you can have it paid off in a month, make it 2 just to be sure. I also will not accept payment plans past 5 months right now. There is a deposit due at time of purchase. Basically, it’s what you can pay me. That is due within 1 week of purchase.

If you have any questions about the above, please feel free to e-mail me at:

mspoe@kc.rr.com

If you need to know dimensions, need bigger pictures, etc.

I look forward to hearing from all those interested in giving these beauties a new home!

Thank You!

~Sarah K. (Ms. Poe)

Due to the incredible amount of offers.....

I'm waiting through the weekend so everyone can get an offer in. I'm receiving new offers daily, so I want to give everyone a fair chance of getting something.

In the event there's several ppl interested in one item....

I will inform all interested parties what the highest offer is, and give them a chance to counter offer. I've done this many times before and it's worked out quite well.

Those of you thinking you could low-ball me...

I don't know if your e-mails were jokes, but a GItS cel is not worth $80. I've have deleted your e-mail(s).

Those of you asking me how much I want for something...

You will be answered last. Not trying to be mean, but I'm asking for OFFERS. Please re-send your e-mails with an appropriate offer. About half of you did this. The other half sent $$$$ offers, and will be answered back with priority.

EVERYTHING SHOWN IS UP FOR OFFERS.

About the sketches...

I am more apt to sell them as a group according to their sections. So, keep that in mind when sending offers for the wolf's rain sketches, Loveless stuffs.

ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE E-MAIL ME!

I'm in that Category of people who asked for prices. Which I aplogize for given when I'm soliciting offers I also hate that I rarely get a true offer and much more often get a how much do you want. Although, your original post did specify that you could be asked for a ballpark figure so that's why I thought it would be alright. I'd have happily researched it if there were any other Cels from the series available to compare to. I just didn't want to send a "lowball" offer accidentally as I am really interested in the piece. I'll be sending another mail shortly though and I hope my offer won't be found insulting as that's isn't my intent. I just honestly have no idea of what the appropriate price point is.

Not to over-step my bounds, but in your initial post you said

I realize that you are taking *offers* but since you said that you would answer e-mails about pricing your collection...are we just S.O.L. unless we sent an e-mail with any random price we could think of? Is my e-mail going to be deleted simply because I didn't put a monetary offer in it; will the cels be offered to somebody who did make a monetary offer, without allowing me to potentially counter offer?

Just trying to clarify a few things.

Sorry for the miscommunication...

Your e-mails won't get deleted, but since I have hundreds of e-mails(which I wasn't expecting), it will make it easier for me to get back to everybody faster with monetary offers included in their e-mails.

Screw it...I'm just gonna answer everything one by one now...There's a lot of ppl interested in certain things...I'm gonna try and get most back by the end of the weekend, and finalize things early next week, since I said I'd give the weekend for latecomers.

I'd still appreciate if everyone sent monetary offers though...

Some prices are high enough now for outright sale early next week.

Probably won't be around much anmore is right. I rarely get on my comp anymore.

Everyone will be answered by tomorrow night.

O, and "Poor Otaku"....

Stop spamming my e-mail box with offers of a lowball nature. It isn't funny anymore. If you think you can get a GItS cel for $80...PLEASE...Go elsewhere with that crap.

EVERYONE who originally e-mailed me and offer should have eard back from me by now. I've accepted a few offers at this point, and some items several ppl were interested in I've e-mailed everyone back the highest ofers.

If I do not hear back from ppl I've sent highest bid offers to, I will disregard your mail, and the item will go to the next highet offer.

Thanx All! I know the things I've sold will be going to good homes!
