Transformers cels..

Post by sletia »

The one that was shown on TV in the early 80's in the US. Where are they? I've seen the first one in weeks on ebay today.. but yeah. Is there any sellers out there selling any at the moment? I'm curious.

I have managed to collect 30 cels or so from Transformers G1. Very hard to find and very expensive. Love to see others collections!!

Yeah, what they said ^.
I'd love a really nice Optimus Prime from that first TV series, but dang... until I've bought all the Ichigo I need, I won't be spending that much on a Prime. :hurt:

And? That's an interesting question. I'll come back to that in a minute. In what context?

There are a number of galleries on RS that are dedicated to G1 Transformers cels. They tend to be VERY expensive and incredibly hard to find. Cels from the movie are also rare and in demand.

They pop up on eBay and Yahoo!Japan every once in awhile, but the competition is fierce.

I'm with Leah - until I get tired to collecting [insert series here], I can't see myself spending that kind of cash on Transformers cels. I loved the series and the movie...but not enough to collect cels, I suppose. :D

My cels are in one of the galleries on RS however not totally dedicated to G1 Transformers. I like many of the 1980's titles.

Thanks RoboFlonne,
The 80's cartoons like Last Unicorn, Voltron, Transformers are hard to come by and the competition is crazy.....they all cost me a bundle!
