Cool, thanks for that info, Ducky, I didn't know about their sales.
However, I've still not watched the last bunch of DVDs I bought from Right Stuf back in the summer so I'd better not add to the pile *LOL*
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...

Is there free shipping after a certain amount?

THAT's Wonderful! I didn't know Xenosaga had been licensed!!! Although I am kinda scared of some of the ADV voice actors!

Yeah that's what I do. I just buy and add to the "completely unopened DVD" pile:

This time I will add...uh "Rumbling Hearts Bargain Bundle" to the pile. /no1

So far I've been safe. I already have the Inuyasha movies and unless they add a shoujo series I've been curious about, I'm not interested.

What only 1 LCD monitor!!!

I'd expect atleast 2 or 3! If you watch 2 or 3 movies at a time! You could catch up on your DvD watching! /ok

I personally have these big 20 Gallon Plastic Tubs that I keep my sketches in...

Were you scanning!!!?

Do you have a name for that particular sketch pile, too? :D

Hey, one LCD is better than zero LCD. I'm eyeing the ancient technology sitting in front of me. (CRT monitor)

Me scan? ?^_^?

No, I was just recording old YJ/Mandarake auction info and getting rid of all the shipping boxes I've built up in my room. I had picked up my latest deputy shipment from the post office today.

Yeah it's my "stuff-from-the-last-three-months" pile. :)

(or more like my "3 1/2 months to 2 weeks ago" pile)

How big is your monitor? :sweatdrop

You need at least a 19 inch monitor or you'll feel like you're looking through a porthole after you finally acquire a larger monitor. :D

Unfortunately about the best I can do is put them in an avatar. I have to start a new season anime list on Friday or Saturday. And I have very little time this time of year. :O

:topic

By the way...my friend told me that Shinsen was directly contacted my Gonzo Japan and told to stop subbing Seto no Hanayome and Dragonaut.

So apparently if this is accurate...the Japanese companies are starting to directly tell fansubbers to stop fansubbing shows. It's not the North American licensing company asking or the North American liscensor backed by Japanese studios asking. It's the Japanese studios directly asking (besides the lone Media Factory) sending out cease and desist orders.

I'm curious to see how this will affect upcoming 2008 anime seasons. Facinating indeed.

Describe your surroundings to me. Some people have big time this time of year.

I use 3 really old computers... (about 125USD) with 15 inch lcd monitors (125USD) and with itsy bitsy mice (10USD) and teeny weeny usb keyboards (10USD).

Image

Everything fits pretty tight if you angle the monitors and you can do 3 things at the same time.
:vict
Think of the Matrix type set up but squish the monitors tighter and with 3 computers and not 6!!!

So really if you have some extra christmas money... It's fun with 3 computers!

p.s. I won't really buy the DvD at Full price unless I've seen the sub... So I don't really know how that will effect my buying DvD's... /hmm

Yup, it's 19 inches, and it weighs a ton, or at least that's what my lower back tells me after I have to move it (which is rare, fortunately). When I get a new monitor, I'd rather it be a smaller monitor with more screen size. ;)
Unfortunately about the best I can do is put them in an avatar. I have to start a new season anime list on Friday or Saturday.
Cool, I'll look forward to that.

Well, I can't imagine it will affect things too much, except if it causes a fansubber to drop a relatively obscure/unpopular anime that no one else is subbing... Popular ones would most likely be picked up/continued by other groups.

BTW, I found your use of the off topic emoticon at the end of your post amusing, as your entire post was off the 12 Days of Anime topic. :P

8O I have a hard enough time multi-tasking on one computer; I think three computers would break what's left of my brain.

Me Too! For $20 you really can't beat buying a whole series. I might not have checked it out at all if it wasn't so cheap.

RoboFlonne: I don't pay Full price for any anime dvds. Thank You RightStuf!!

The new one is a Boys Over Flowers bundle. That's a Big discount. I think it will be joining my collection of dvds as well!
