Looking For Celcia From Those Who Hunt Elves (FOUND!)
Looking For Celcia From Those Who Hunt Elves (FOUND!)
Rather than bump up my old wishlist thread, I've decided to start a new one focused solely on my #1 wishlist cel. Here's the link to my wishlist:
http://insaneben.rubberslug.com/gallery/wishlist.asp
Bear in mind that I am looking for cels of her in elf form ONLY (it can be from either the first or second series).
UPDATE:
First, the New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl.
Then, the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup.
Shortly after that, Spain won the World Cup.
Recently, the San Francisco Giants won the World Series.
Now, you can add one more to the list of long losing streaks brought to an end:
I finally got a cel of Celcia!
Pictures will be posted sometime within the next two weeks.
Stay tuned...

Well, I have some good news and more bad news...
The good news is I finally found a cel of Celcia:
http://www.apricot.com/~taku/misc.htm
The bad news is threefold:
1) The website hasn't been updated in more than seven years.
2) The owner's e-mail addresses are invalid.
3) I'm not even sure if this person still owns the cel I'm looking for.
I'm posting this on the off-chance that either this person is a member of these forums or if someone around here has done business with this person. Anyone willing to help me out?

Wow...I haven't seen that website in ages. I'm surprised it's still up.
The last time I e-mailed him many years ago I never got a response. Maybe the e-mail never went through. His name is not listed in my local phone book.
Does anyone know where Tabichan went? She collected Dokyusei cels and I've always wondered if she kept her cels or sold them:

I bought a cel from this website way back in 2000 or 2001...this one: http://conri.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv ... mID=123712insaneben wrote: http://www.apricot.com/~taku/misc.htm
Seven years later, the price/cel was never taken down, and no sold indicator was ever put up.
I don't remember having any problems whatsoever with the deal, but even if you could contact the seller at this point in time, the cel might have been sold long ago.
Well, the good news is I finally found one... just not the one I'm looking for:

But hey, at least now I have proof that cels of Celcia DO exist (and from a current website, no less).

Just looking at old post about contacting the guy that had the site:
http://www.apricot.com/~taku/misc.htm
He appears at linkedin:
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/taku-otsuka/4/16b/ba
You might be able to contact him through that site. It also indicates he is on the staff of Anime Expo.

Problem is, in order to contact the guy, I'd have to spend $49.95 just to upgrade to a "Premium" account. I'm not throwing away 50 dollars just to end up with a "no", find out the cel's been sold, or never hear back from the guy. Still, quite interesting that Taku's working for Bandai Entertainment and Anime Expo (meaning that, even if I were to contact him, he'd probably be way too busy to respond within the next month).
Thanks for pointing that out, benten.
Now then, anyone else want to give me a helping hand finding a cel of Celcia from Those Who Hunt Elves?
