What's your favorite Valentine's candy?

Post by wELCOME cONSUMER »

Whether this holiday is a source of excitement or dread for you, we all have our preferred Valentine's Day treats. For me, Valentine's Day has come to mean only one thing: chocolate truffles! Any kind, I'll take 'em all. However, last year, I was introduced to the Russell Stover chocolate covered marshmallow heart. I can't get enough of those things and they're not sold everywhere, so some serious hunting must be done. Drug stores like CVS and greeting card stores like Hallmark are pretty good about carrying them.

So, what is your favorite Valentine's Day treat?

Aside from candy, I enjoy seeing the increase in flowers. Whether it's at work, the local shops or the grocery store, it's nice to see and smell all of the wonderful flowers. My favorites are star gazer lilies

Anything chocolate works for me! I also enjoy those marshmallow hearts, but chocolate covered cherries are my favorite v-day treat!

I'm looking forward to Easter and those cadbury eggs!

<=== meet the world's only chocolate-hating female

:D :D :D :D

Yup folks! These 'creatures' are not a myth no matter what you hear!
There are some of us of the fairer gender that actually
despise the very taste of chocolate O_O
:P
I would starve to death if locked inside a chocolatier store
:hitting: :hurt: :l

Guess that makes me an unusual date!
:crackup
Just gimme a mushroom related treat or form of
shellfish (not shrimp :P)

mmmmm stuffed lobstermeat mushrooms

thou I do love marshmellows too....

/hmm

Aha! :o
marshmellow stuffed lobstermeat w/ mushrooms
8)
yea.... there we go... oh God
:drool :drool :drool

As for flowers I never cared for them either.
I had a bitch of a time just settling on what to carry
for a bouquet for my own wedding.
:emb

I guess I'm a simple girl who just wants a rock lobster dinner
and very kinky sex afterwards on V-Day..
:dsmoke :whip
is that so hard to ask

See what you started Shamoo?!

Alright, Guys, I know you like candy too, so surely there is something you would consider a fav.

I have a hard time thinking of a fav for v-day, because I eat chocolates all year 'round.
I love stopping into Sees and getting just one truffle, since they give you something just for coming in, 2 chocolates is enough. I've being doing that since High School.
I also like stopping in for 1-2 at Godiva too.

My favorite M&Ms are only available during Christmas.

So I guess the one thing that I can't get any other time of the year is the Dove Truffles. :drool

I like candy hearts but only the ones made by Brach's the other ones are too hard. I could eat Godiva truffles anyday, they are my favorite candy.

As far as flowers I am partial to white roses.
It eluded us then, but ...tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further...and one fine morning- So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

Do you mean you work at shampoo as he or she do not really like candy?

As Bertrand Russel said, it must have taken ages for people to realize that a brace of pheasants and a couple of days are both instances of the number "two. "

I am a sugar addict, so normally I'm all over unique holiday candies.

But Valentine's Day does not produce that much unique candy: it's just the same candy in a pink/red wrapper.

The only interesting candy are the Conversation Hearts, which taste like chalk...

Uh... the chocolate ones :P

But really, I'm a cookie eater. I'm not big on candy.
