Do Most Cel Collectors like to draw and create art?

I do!

I think alot of collectors are artist just because they'd apparition for the art form.

But anyone who likes art probably likes cel collecting.

Wow! I just couldn't eat that cake. I'd try to preserve it and collect it!!!

I do also, I'm an art teacher actually so I like using a couple different medias

I agree that many in this hobby seem to have at least a little interest in art in general.

Well, I did take art classes a lot from elementary school to college. And I do webdesign, too.

As for art, I got my degree in graphic design and now I get to play webmaster 5 days a week : )

I actually started collecting cels after I began taking art lessons in October. I had always wanted to learn to draw, and my mom is quite the artist, so I searched around for a private teacher. It's a lot of fun, although my drawings still suck!

*and my teacher was the one who wanted me to put my art in the gallery for her to show other students

I wish I could draw.

On the other hand I have done embroidery (needlepoint, cross-stitch, quilting, crewel, etc) since I was six years old. That's 37 years. Give me an image to work with and I can adapt it for needle and thread. I have only done a few anime pieces though.

I like to draw but I'm certainly not good at it. I recently started to attempt painting backgrounds for cels (mostly just blue colors since I'm obsessed with skies), but again I'm not good at it and most of the time I'm just guessing what the heck I'm doing. haha What kind of paint is used for cel backgrounds anyway? *clueless* But yeah, if I didn't like art, I wouldn't have gotten sucked into this hobby in the first place.

I can't draw worth a hill of beans.

I get artsy/craft ideas, but they just don't come out that well.

I'll stick to admiring art instead.

My grandma is a very good painter! So I want to be like her...And so I practice on how to draw....
the end result may traumatize some of you....
