I have no clue what in the world is wrong with my scanner...
It used to scan stuff in perfectly...but when I used it today it horribly messed up one of my cels colors and made the character look super dark...
Examples:

The first one is with my old scanner:
~Mondo huh?~ NFS"
NEW SCAN (of the first one's sequence buddy):
~What?~ NFS
-----------------
I know that the scanner used to work, since I used it to scan my Gundam Destiny DX a while back:

--------------------------------------------
I think that my sister messed something up...but my knowledge of scanners is almost non-existent....
I think that I may have to fix the scanner settings...but to what I am not sure.....
-------------------
Info on scanner: HP 1510 All in one
-------------
Settings: Picture -200ppi-(24-bit)
Scan Preferences:
*Automatically adjust exposure
*Prompt for additional scans from glass/TMA
------------------------
Quality Vs. Speed:
---Scan at maximum pixel depth -Not checked...should I use this???
---
-Any help is appreciated........

I agree with recalibrating it. It's not broken. Looks like the brightness and contrast have been thrown off. I'd guess she reduced the brightness, and probably selected some auto color correct feature. Not too sure since I have a canon scanner. You could always do the 'reset to defaults' selection if you didn't have any of your own personalized scan settings. Probably easiest.

I agree with the recalibration idea as wellpixie_princess wrote:I agree with recalibrating it.

Access your scanner like you would if you were going to scan something. There should be some kind of window that opens up with a bunch of choices on it... Maybe it has tabs at the top. If it has it, go to advanced settings -it might be listed there, if not, look around and see if it has a calibrate scanner check box. Go to that.
